yeah, i have heard of lots of news reports indicating this song should not be sung since anyone who does gets killed. I don't think it;s cursed though, i just think this son is a favorite in karaokes where drunk men sings it. And usually drunk men also listen to it..and if the one singing has an awful vice, someone might kill him. So it's not the song to be blamed, but the singer.

That is so funny. I never heard this particular urban legend. I am assuming you mean the Frank Sinatra song? It was written by Paul Anka for Frank. Sid Vicious also did a version. I love all versions. I remember Burt Reynolds swimming out to sea when he was trying to kill himself in the movie the end. And it was played at the end of the movie good fellas. I was thinking it was that song the guy was singing in license to drive but that was the song that's life by Sinatra. I totally agree about the curse as many who have sung the song are still alive. I think you can sing anything around drunken ticked off men and it's going to annoy them ha ha.

It's not an urban legend, people were actually killed after they sang the song. it's just a famous songs drunk guys love to sing in karaoke... Maybe they gt into a brawl afterwards abut how badly they sung the song.

I somehow heard it to be true. Perhaps the high pitch is what makes the drunk people crazy and would do everything they can to stop the person's agony! But I guess over time, it's just considered as a joke that's why people call it the 'killer' song.

Yeah, this song just happens to be famously sung in karaokes, it's not the songs fault at all.. I think bad singers should not sing in bars, since some people might attack them.

Yeah, people should sing this song when they are inside the house with family members and the are sober. The "end is near"..yeah.. it definitely is for the singer..

I don't know why such a classic hit has become synonymous to being a killer song in a videoke bar. This song is very beautiful both in melody and the meaning of the lines in the song. I have heard of people starting a brawl when someone sings this song, which is quite stupid. I guess it's more of ignorant people who are too drunk to think straight and will use any excuse just to start a fight.

Yes, i agree the song is nice and the singer is a legend.. it's just the drunk who sings the song that murders he song.. ans otehr people who hears it would want to murder him too. People do crazy stuff when drunk.

Maybe the song could be partly blamed. It's a very popular song that any videoke patron would kill if anyone sings it first. Hehe! It's so popular that any videoke patron would want to grab the microphone and sing that song. Hahaha! XD

It was just my imagination. Hehe! But maybe, just maybe they are fighting for their most favorite song. Fighting for it like 2 predators fighting over 1 prey. Hehe. =D And yes drunk people have short tempers. It's always evident on news. =D

Wow, i never thought of it like that.. But yes, that could be one of the reasons.. fighting over who sings the song first.. Drunk people usually have short tempers..

Yeah, killing usually happen when people get angry, and people get angry easily when they are drunk- they do foolish things.. I don't hear that much cases of people getting killed in karaokes though.. fortunately.
