Do you find Chunky Soup too salty?

I noticed the sodium content in the clam chowder Chunky soup to be quite high at 35% compared to the newer cans with less sodium at 26%, which they advertise as 25% less salt. Do you find Chunky soup too salty?

Recently my daughter bought a make it yourself gumbo kit. When we followed the directions, we were disappointed that it wasn't well seasoned. Both my daughter and hubby said it was too sweet and really needed some seasonings....
