Wheatfiled with Reaper and SUN by Vincent van Gogh This painting originates from the works of Vincent Van Gogh ( 1853-90), and is known as The Reaper, a 1889 impressionism that now hangs in Van Goch Museum in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. There are housed more that 200 paintings, along with nearly every sketch, print, etching, and piece of correspondence this artist ever produced of his works done in Holland and in France. THIS masterpiece was done in France where he moved after his father died. He created it in 1889, the year before he ended his life, after painting only 10 years and reaching only 37 years of age.
