Halloween on a Budget

L to R:The first picture is of my sister and her little boy. She made those wings herself, out of a coat hangers and some $1/yd. fabric. Skirt was $2/yd. Total cost for costume - less than $15. Her sons cowboy costume was made mostly from things we had on hand, so she only had to pay about $3 total for the materials for the vest. Second picture is my son. He is dressed as a pack of Junior Mints. He already had a thin white onesie, so I just painted to logo on, put him some warmer clothes on underneath. Total cost - $0 3rd is me, as a bag of Jelly Belly Jelly Beans. The balloons were the water bomb size, costing about $2. I already had the plastic, my brother-in-law gave me the white shirt that I painted with the logo, but I did pay for the stockings and some lime green eyelashes (you can't really see them in the picture). Last is a costume of mine from a few years ago. I was, of course, the Ace of Spades. My uncle got the shoes for me, the main part of the costume was $2-$3 at an orphanage sale, and I picked up a few accessory odds-and-ends throughout the year. Total cost - less than $15.
