I was slapped real hard or even bashed black and blue by my uncle (the black sheep in the family) once when I was in my teens. I only wanted to stop him from being mean to my grandparents. Oh yeah! I fought back until my whole body was numbed. I remember not being able to feel those blows, kicks and punches anymore. It was chaos in the house until my other uncle came by and stopped him and they end up fist-fighting.
