Travelling at this time when there is the A(H1N1) scare, it's discouraging to travel. In fact, people who came from other affected countries are considered as carriers of the disease, just like what happened to our country.

Having friends when you're abroad helps a lot in combatting loneliness and homesickness. Friends are always there to share their time and talent. They empathize with you in your darkest hours and stay by your side when everyone else has gone.

My work brings me to places in the Philippines and elsewhere...I am fortunate because I am given the opportunity to travel at less expense on my part because our local official travels are all shouldered by the school; for international travels, the school sponsors 50% of the total expense...not bad considering that our local travel is free, courtesy of the school.
