Do you still use measuring cups and spoons when you cook?

Or do you just estimate the amount of ingredients? I know a lot of cooks who would just use a little bit of this, a sprinkle of that, a lot of this, a handful of that. That's EXACTLY the way they measure their ingredients, and yet...

What is in your kitchen you just can't throw out?

I bought this cheap 4 cup plastic measuring cup in a dollar store a few years ago. Within a month or so the numbers had all worn off. I have used it each morning to froth my milk for my cappuccino and it has a stripe worn into it....
