Are non stick cook ware bad for health?

I have heard some where that non stick cookware are not good for health, is it true that the stick material is bad for health as it comes off very soon and is cooked with the food you prepare!

sudiptacallingu I have used non-stick cookware for quite sometime and I dont think it causes any health problems. If you buy good quality branded non-stick cookware and use wooden spatula, the coating does not come off. And you have to clean it with soft sponge. That way the...
