As a Mexican woman it seems I have grown in two different worlds: one in my mind where tolerance is important and the other where our misogynistic reality cannot be ignored by most. Had a partner who hated me to have gay friends...

I currently turned 34, ended a relationship with a person who's been around in my life for almost half of it. My life has not been even close to what I thought it would be at this age. I guess this happens to most of us. I...

Lately I've been feeling a tad philosophical and wonder why we fear death??... I honestly do not fear dying but do know I would be devastated if I lost a close member... Ever since I was a child I heard on TV about the end of...

rsa101 I guess that is the right mindset about death. It will come to all of us but why bother about it so much just enjoy what you have right now and when the time comes there would be no regrets about not being able to enjoy life because you worry a lot about...

Pinay Ako I don't have a dream. LOL! I already have "my own beach". But if I could have a chance to travel I want to visit wildlife parks. I love to see different kinds of animals and capture them.

I never imagined that my neighbor could be capable of this. Yeah, sure, I had been the one to call the cops, but I thought the worst the man could do was yell at the police officer. I wasn't prepared to watch as the man took a gun...

AmberLynn @EleonorRigby It's scary how easy assault weapons can be placed in the hands of normal citizens. I agree with you, I think it would be could if both the US and Mexico could work together to get rid of the weapons, and if we could also help get rid of the Drug...

Hanni Harel @EleonorRigby I am sorry. My ex did not like me and did not like the dog he brought home. The dog and cat ended up being my animals and I loved them so was glad I had them. I was sorry they had to live in a home with him. Do you have a dog now?

AmberLynn @EleonorRigby I don't think there will ever be a firm grip on gun control here, but I agree that we need to regulate the sale of guns and make sure that they are going into hands that won't use them for crimes. Most of the people I have met from Mexico are...
