Arunima Singh @Gguusia It has antiseptic properties. You can Google search about oil pulling. It's an age old practice in Ayurveda and Yoga,where you gargle with virgin coconut oil for your oral hygiene. It is also believed to bring more health benefits.

Arunima Singh I am not sure if coconut oil helps with whitening of teeth. But it's definitely healthy for hygiene and oral health. People in India have been using them as their traditional oral cleaning.
