jashley1 @jashley1 (746) • United States 24 Feb 09

Ok - so when I had my third child who is now 15 months old, my two daughters were fine with it. However, I am finding that my daughter who is my middle child and age 4 is now really yearning for attention and doing a lot of...

GloriaSimpson My biggest piece of advice would be to ignore the negative behavior and over praise her for her good behavior. Sounds like, in her 4 year old mind, she has had to sacrifice for the new baby. (ie no more daycare/full time preschool) Since baby arrived, the only...

Is it alright for a man to cry???

mariedenae @mariedenae (335) • United States 24 Feb 09

I get so many people saying " Men aren't supposed to cry" or telling their sons that "Boy's don't cry" or telling that they are a sissy or soft for shedding a few tears. My husband cries when he has the emotion to cry and I don't...

GloriaSimpson I think men have the same emotions as women, but have been led to believe that they are weak for crying. For ages, men have been taught to be the strong one, the fixer, the glue that holds things together when the going gets rough. Men, women, children,...

GloriaSimpson Try Melatonin. You can get it at your local drug store. Its a natural way to promote sleep. Its a hormone found in your body. Of course, you want to research it first to make sure that it is for you. Smiling... G

You, the one reading this at this very moment. What could I do for you to lighten your load today? I'm feeling a bit down today and a sure fire way for me to snap out of it would be to do something nice for others. So, would...

Pen or pencil?

smooch091784 @smooch091784 (973) • Philippines 24 Feb 09

Pencils are the first thing I held when I was in Kinder garden. I even remember having those jumbo pencils that I show off my classmates. Haha And got too excited and delighted when I start using a pen when I was in 4th grade or I...

GloriaSimpson I use a black gel pen for everything. Gel pens write so nice, and I always have white out if needed. Black ink is best for copying, faxing or scanning. I also print just about everything, except my signature. It is neater and easier to read.

GloriaSimpson I love Stewie. The best episode was when Peter was addicted to The Bird is the Word song. I loved the part where Stewie and Brian trashed the record...it was so funny!

GloriaSimpson Do we need money, yes. But massive amounts? I think not. Learning to weigh out the "I needs" vs the "I wants" are important. Do you need that brand new hummer or would a used SUV be okay? Do you need that 3300sq custom built home or would the well kept...
