I love to learn new things, and they don't even have to be useful things, but when they are it love it even more. I was reading an article this morning about how to improve your memory. One of the ways in the article was by...

From my desk I can look out the window in the direction most storms come from for us. I can see the slight changes in the color of the sky and clouds. I knew by noon that we would likely have a storm last night. It was ten...

Heather Echola I would find it very uncomfortable to be hot all the time. Our city water supply is spring fed and the water is fairly cool all the time.

I don't have kids but I observe my nieces grow and how my brother and sister-in-law treat and raise them. They are 12, 9 and 3 years old and the eldest is already talking about how cute boys are. I asked my brother what he would...

Jennifer My oldest daughter has a "boyfriend" at church. It's cute at this age and healthy in my opinion. She's 11 years old. My parents banned me from dating or having any real relationship until I was 18 years old and I suffered from it to be honest. When I moved...

CaseyL I don't have kids either but I can promise you that isn't right and is going to end badly if he tries to forbid them. It has been shown that these preteen to teen years are important for development and dating is important at this time. I wouldn't say let your...

Ithink We have 8 kids all of age except our 10 year old. Yes we talked about it, I even talked to the boys and vice versa. Who ever they would ask would answer what they wanted to know, or just in passing we would talk. I'm very open on the subject as far as I'm...

Yuki Not talking about it is just irresponsible. Educating a child about the realities and risks of adult relationships isn't encouraging them to engage in sexual behavior. There are far too many life-changing consequences that can result from kids not being given...

Manandezo That is what I think. Sooner or later the girls will ask or present situations even more complex and there will be no way to hide them from everything in this world. Better educate than punish. For me, forbidding is a punishment rather than education. I tell...
