Be Thankful You're Smart Because You Sure Aren't Pretty

cynicalandoutspoken @cynicalandoutspoken (4725) • United States 5 Mar 08

My mom (yes her again, that witch) always told me when I was younger there were two types of women in this world - The smart ones and the pretty ones. And I should be thanking the lord that I was smart because I certainly wasn't...

How do you get people who owe you money to realize that paying you back needs to be on their priority list? Here is a scenario. You are great friends with this couple who has 3 kids and they end up losing their electric...

Guns Don't Kill People. Stupidity Kills People

cynicalandoutspoken @cynicalandoutspoken (4725) • United States 26 Feb 08

How many egregious gun crimes will be committed before our society says "no more?" For most of you who know me, you know I am largely conservative in many areas. Gun control is an issue I am slowly starting to break from other...

I love that song, Paradise by the dashboard light. Particularly the lines: "So now I'm praying for the end of time To hurry up and arrive Cause if I gotta spend another minute with you I don't think that I can really...

How DARE You THANK Me!

cynicalandoutspoken @cynicalandoutspoken (4725) • United States 10 Mar 08

Have we really come so far as a society that simple gestures like saying Thank You for spending your time in my discussion, has some how become offensive to some of us? It even says in the mythical rules of myLot conduct NOT...

Why Am I Getting PM's that my Friends Are Starting New Discussions?

cynicalandoutspoken @cynicalandoutspoken (4725) • United States 10 Mar 08

I woke this morning feeling like I had been run over with a steam roller. Every muscle in my body ached. I had a splitting head ache. I was so angry at the alarm clock for interrupting my sleep that it almost met an untimely end...

I Vow To Love You as Long as You OBEY Me

cynicalandoutspoken @cynicalandoutspoken (4725) • United States 6 Mar 08

It took way too long for the "powers that be" to change the vows to no longer include OBEY as one of them. Did you write your own wedding vows or do you plan on writing your own when you do get married or did you or will you...
