So, worlds worst parent over here. My 2 year old has been fussy lately (past week or so) and started running a low grade fever on Saturday. Didn't think much of it, Motrin and off to bed. Fussy on Sunday, feverish but couldn't...

I woke up this morning and got on facebook to find that another man lost his life today. I refuse to watch the video on the incident, atleast for the time being. I wasn't even going to remark on this incident but then I walk...

AmberLynn We can't trust the media to give an unbiased view either. It is sad that we'll never know the truth of it and the family may never get the justice they need. Even if the officer is persecuted for it...

I've had a 5 day weekend from one of my jobs. The one I talked about earlier, where I go to school with little G. I've been going with him for 4 years. It's been good. I have considered myself friends with his teacher. And...

AmberLynn I agree. The school systems want to chunk everyone together as if they learn in the same ways. Even those who are in specialized classes ; They do not necessarily get the attention they need to flourish.

So far I'm really enjoying the look of the new MyLot. Seems much more user friendly, easy to navigate and I'm slightly obsessed with the fact that I can use it from my phone. That means that the next time ZJ takes TWO HOURS to go...

Karen Waterson I never get anything back, as I have to pay every year, and it sucks. I do have a rental, so that is why I have to pay every year. I hate tax time, but it just can't be avoided I guess. I wish I didn't have to file, but oh well, it has to be done regradless....

Yuki Does the kid have an IEP in place? If not, the parents need to get one in place ASAP. The district has to make reasonable accommodations for students who need them, and they should be working with the parents to make sure it's taken care of. Obviously you...

UmiNoor @MakingCents That is correct. It's really unfair to turn away a large number of refugees because of a small group of would-be terrorists. I'm confident that the US possesses advanced technology that can filter this small group of people.

UmiNoor There is a real fear that among the refugees are terrorists trying to get into the US. That means there must be a way to filter them out. It can be difficult but not impossible.
