inu1711 I'm afraid he might feel somehow that frustration or anger you experience when the feeding time comes. I don't know what could you do to feel more detached when it's his mealtime. Giving advice is one thing, but living with this is a different thing. I know...

My colleague shaved her dog and her dog looks so weird and even ugly in my opinion. I asked her why she had to shave the dog. She said it would be easier to handle since the dog often fell the hair everywhere. I was in shock to...

inu1711 Jeanneyvonne, I hope you will never accept your dog to be sedated in order to be shaved. Those vets who do this don't care about the dogs' health too much. I am sure you know that anesthesia isn't something to repeat too many time in a dog's lifetime. To...

inu1711 I suppose your dog wasn't hungry when you gave him the treat. When they are hungry, dogs eat as much as they can. If they don't feel hungry, their instincts tell them to hide the extra food for later. In wild life, a wolf always go to the food deposits he...

MsTickle Oh dear, how awful! My dog Pixie never buried anything smelly under the cushions fortunately but then again, the cushions were always being moved and I would find her treasures when I straightened things up.

I started a discussion about my dog being a picky eater. I did enforce the 10-15 minute rule (where I take away his food if he doesn't touch it) and I even tried introducing a small amount of another dog food brand. after several...
