Are you going to make payout for the new year?

ThePaintGuru @ThePaintGuru (541) • United States 29 Dec 08

I know a lot of us here on mylot are probably posting a little more now that the year is almost over, trying to make payout. I am only a few cents short but I don't have too much time to spend online. Anyone else in that boat?

Does no-minimum.com pay?

ThePaintGuru @ThePaintGuru (541) • United States 21 Dec 08

About three weeks ago I requested a modest payout of $2.29 from this GPT site, and they still haven't paid me. I can't submit a ticket because the CAPTCHA (security code image) is broken in their system. Has anyone been paid...

Does myLot usually respond to messages?

ThePaintGuru @ThePaintGuru (541) • United States 17 Dec 08

I sent them a question about several weeks ago, and it is important to me that I get the answer because I want to make sure I won't get banned or anything like that for using a bit of CSS to modify my profile. I still haven't...

Suggestions for my profile?

ThePaintGuru @ThePaintGuru (541) • United States 13 Dec 08

I have done a little work on my profile to make in more interesting and appealing, so that hopefully people will visit. I know I could just put up a bunch of affiliate links but I want it to be more like a website with little bits...

Are you an expert?

ThePaintGuru @ThePaintGuru (541) • United States 8 Dec 08

There are a lot of people here on myLot helping each other with all kinds of things. That's because we all seem to know about something unusual which comes in handy sometimes. I, for example, can speak Spanish, translate morse...

Are there any GOOD paid review sites left?

ThePaintGuru @ThePaintGuru (541) • United States 8 Dec 08

A couple of weeks ago, Ciao announced that they will no longer pay the 25 per review bonus. Instead you'll get to be a part of their new incentive system, which for most of this means zero earnings. I have looked everywhere to try...

Does myLotting relieve your stress?

ThePaintGuru @ThePaintGuru (541) • United States 2 Dec 08

There are a lot of silly and shallow topics here on mylot, but I can't decide whether this is a good thing or a bad thing. On the one hand, I don't really care about what kind of tea people prefer, how many hours they spend...

Putting the assertion you DON'T agree with in the post title

ThePaintGuru @ThePaintGuru (541) • United States 2 Dec 08

So lately I've noticed here on mylot that the trend is to start a post with some inflammatory title to hook people in, only to refute it in the introduction as an example of what you don't agree with. Do you think this cheapens...

How often do you buy a new computer?

ThePaintGuru @ThePaintGuru (541) • United States 2 Dec 08

I'm wondering how often you need to upgrade your computers, and if the amount of time has changed over time. I know for a while there to keep up with a computer you could use with modern software you needed to buy a new one...

Do you think myLot moderators should get involved more?

ThePaintGuru @ThePaintGuru (541) • United States 2 Dec 08

I've been on a bunch of forums before, and a couple of them were forums that paid you to post, and I have noticed that the moderators are always known and involved in discussions. They'll break up flame wars, fix issues that you...

Help me find a survey site

I know people post vague discussions about this all the time, but I really have looked myself and have had bad luck finding a site that actually worked for me. Are there any sites out there that meet all these criteria: -...

Suggestion for a change here on myLot

ThePaintGuru @ThePaintGuru (541) • United States 1 Dec 08

Although I have pretty fast internet generally, myLot loads every page a bit slowly, probably because it's such a popular site. I'm happy that there are so many members always online sharing their thoughts, opinions, and advie but...

Do you do this, if so why?

ThePaintGuru @ThePaintGuru (541) • United States 1 Dec 08

I have noticed here on mylot that some people tend to add a little signature-type line to the end of all their posts like "happy mylotting" or "have a nice day", and I'm wondering if this is part of a strategy to earn a bit more...

How do you find good discussions?

ThePaintGuru @ThePaintGuru (541) • United States 1 Dec 08

I'm more of a responder than a starter of discussions, but once I've exhausted all the top choices under Today's Top, My Interests, Friends Started, etc... I am out of things to respond to. Some days I just put it on New and...

When you hit 500 posts, do you copy and paste a lot?

ThePaintGuru @ThePaintGuru (541) • United States 29 Nov 08

I had forgotten that there was a prohibition against copying and pasting until you'd reached a 500 rating because I never needed to do it, but I imagine that many people are working hard to increase their post count just to reach...

Do you keep track of your posts here on mylot?

ThePaintGuru @ThePaintGuru (541) • United States 28 Nov 08

I'm wondering if there's anyone here actually keeping track of each post they write on mylot. I'm not organized enough to remember to do it, but I'm sure there's somebody out there with an excel spreadsheet where they type in how...

Do you spend more online or in stores?

ThePaintGuru @ThePaintGuru (541) • United States 28 Nov 08

Although there are more options of things to buy open to me online, I probably spend more of my money offline. This is because I buy lunch and that is really the only expense I pay for myself at this time in my life, so I'm mostly...

Do you like any songs in a foreign language?

ThePaintGuru @ThePaintGuru (541) • United States 28 Nov 08

Over the summer I went to a Chinese langauge immersion camp. Among other things, what we did was to listen to popular Chinese songs and watch their music videos on Youtube. Some of these songs have grown on me, and now I have them...

Do you buy your food in bulk?

ThePaintGuru @ThePaintGuru (541) • United States 28 Nov 08

In my family we often go to Costco and similar places to get our food. It tends to be pretty good quality produce and is a bit cheaper when you buy it in bulk. We only have 4 people, but we do have an extra freezer and big...
