Victor Frankenstein I prefer to do a weekly shop, with one or two small top up shops in between. But that's one good thing about the area where I live - there are several supermarkets nearby, so I can usually pop in for something when I'm on my way to or from somewhere.

Victor Frankenstein Yes, they're very often just as good as the name brands. Baked beans are a classic example. The last time I bothered to check, Tesco beans were about a third of the price of Heinz beans, and there's little or no difference.
