maximax8 @maximax8 (31038) • United Kingdom 16 Feb 09

Do You Own Up To A Mistake?

lynnemg @lynnemg (4529) • United States 15 Feb 09

If you make a mistake, big or little, do you admit it or try to get by with it? I am one who will admit my mistakes and shortcomings. For example, if I tell my kids to do something and find out later that they had previously...

abbymartin2009 I wish I could say I own up to a mistake, but the fact is I don't. I will argue with someone just to prove I'm right even if I know I did the wrong thing.

Is spirituality necessary to recover from alcoholism?

maezee @maezee (41896) • United States 15 Feb 09

What do you think? Do you think there is a non-spiritual way to recover from alcoholism? I ask, because I've had two alcoholic parents for as long as I can remember - and neither are particularly religious or even spiritual. It...

abbymartin2009 I have had a similar experience. My uncle who I was really close with started to drink, and gradually he started to drink more and then he became an alcoholic. Trying to convince him of the consequences didn't help. Over a short period of time, a whole bunch...

Do you vote?

GemmaR @GemmaR (8515) 15 Feb 09

Are you on the electoral register? And do you actually vote? I don't, because I don't understand what I'm voting for half of the time, and I think that's a waste. I don't really have a problem with letting other people pick...

abbymartin2009 Well, I would vote if I could. My birthday missed the cutoff deadline by about a week. Voting is a way to get involved politically, and I think everyone should vote.

abbymartin2009 Yes, I bathe every day, unless I am on a camping trip or somewhere in which a shower isn't provided. Yes, taking a scalding hot shower can harm your skin, but there are heavy lotions that can keep your skin smooth. Otherwise, just reduce the temperature of the...

What would you do if you had triplets?

abbymartin2009 @abbymartin2009 (28) 16 Feb 09

I am asking this question because I am a triplet myself. I have asked my parents multiple times if it was hard raising all of us at the same time, but the only answer I can get out of them is, "No, you were good children." So I'm...

abbymartin2009 I completely agree. It is ridiculous to try and change someone who writes with their left hand to become right handed. If someone is born being left handed, then there is no point in changing it.

rosdimy @rosdimy (3926) • Malaysia 15 Feb 09

abbymartin2009 I don't think one can ever forget their first true love. Love is an emotion that one experiences, and the first time you feel, it is like no other feeling. I dont believe that one's first true love is the person that you love the most, but I definitely think...
