If someone can`t see, they`re blind and if someone can`t hear, they`re deaf, so what do you call people who can`t smell?

If mirrors need light to work ... what happens if you put night vision goggles on in the dark and look at a mirror?

Do people who use sign language see little hands in their head whent they think about what somebody said, or do they hear the words in their head?

Does it bother you when people cut in line in front of you?

arkaf61 @arkaf61 (10881) • Canada 11 Feb 07

It does bother me. I do my best to respect people in line before me and i find it really rude that people think they're so special they don't have to wait, just get in front of everyone else. A few weeks ago I was waiting for the...

Changing the genes of babies to handicap them!! This is outright horrible!

cacophonix @cacophonix (238) • India 22 Jan 07

Till now I used to believe that genetic intervention can be used only to remove any defects and improve certain attributes of a person or plant. We all know about genetically engineered seeds. The produce from these seeds is...

armywifey That is just wrong. I can understand to a point that parents would like their children to be like them. But it is wrong to make a perfectly healthy baby something they are not supposed to be. We are made the way we are for a reason. I don't even believe...

pinkeagle I had not heard of this, but now that you mention it, I can believe it. I would support a law to make this illegal. It should be against the law to delibrately make a newborn have a handicap. Whether these parents want to admit it or not, some of these...

cacophonix @cacophonix (238) • India 21 Jan 07

Check this link... http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/6283677.stm This duck can put even tough guys to shame! After being wounded badly by a gun shot and then kept in the fridge for two days, it survived! Show me a man who...

sunshinecup Yes that is one tough duck. But it's sad in so many ways. It will never be able to live in the wild again. I don't understand how stupid the hunter could be. He shot it in it's wing and leg, yet thought it was dead? To me the big tip off would have been...

I hope such a situation never arises in anyone's life! Still, I can't help imagine a situation where one is face to face with death, knowing fully well that he is going to die in the very next few moments or seconds (click on...

Sports or cruelty on animals?

cacophonix @cacophonix (238) • India 10 Jan 07

there are several sports involving animals, sometimes injuring them or even killing them. sometimes the players or showmen show off their abilities by pitting themsleves against the poor wordless beasts. and sometimes they...

tbomb2002 I agree, and I noticed your photo of a bull fight so that is a perfect example. I find that disgusting to think people would actually consider that a sport. I don't understand people who hunt for sport either. Certainly, if they made it a sport where humans...

euthanasia - should doctors end the lives of their terminally ill patients?

cacophonix @cacophonix (238) • India 22 Dec 06

Probably the major argument in favor of euthanasia is that the person involved is in great pain. Those who advocate euthanasia present the cases of unbearable pain which cannot be relieved by medicines as reasons for euthanasia....
