Soup

MsTickle @MsTickle (25178) • Australia 27 May 08

It's the time of year here for hot, homemade soup. Yesterday I made pumpkin vichysoise and it's so yummy. It's basically pumpkin soup with cream. I added a touch of cummin and oh boy...it's soooo tasty. I wish I had some crusty...

In Hillary's hands - or not?

coffeebreak @coffeebreak (17797) • United States 4 Feb 08

In watching a news show, it came to my mind - with all these third world countries and other countries that are male "dominated" and where women dont have rights, can't vote, can't even show their faces in public and are half the...

caroliewrites That's an interesting and poignant question Coffebreak. Will the third world male dominated countries deal with Hillary? Did they with Margret Thatcher? Interesting.

Holy cow is all I can say. The Monte Carlo Casino in Las Vegas is on fire. It's on MSNBC right now. The thick, black smoke is pouring from the top rooms. It's a 32 story casino with something like 3,000 rooms. Our daughter and...

caroliewrites Hi cindy, If you already have beautiful hair why not leave it alone? I understand being bored and wanting a new look, but be very careful, especially because your hair is so dark. My suggestion; go to a professional.

caroliewrites Hi Carol, We live in the Northwest and have lots of racoons. Although they are cute and amazing to watch, be very careful as they can be vicious. A very large racoon attacked our large dog last year and did a lot of damage. Be careful.
