If reincarnation exists how come the population is growing year by year?

onedollar @onedollar (781) • Belgium 11 Oct 07

Something I never understood is reincarnation, because our population doubles every couple of decades. Where do all those new people come from? If we would be reborn time after time the total population would not increase but be...

luzamper In the Holy Bible, there is no reincarnation and there could not be reincarnation primarily because everybody will die and each of us on the last day will either go to heaven or to hell. If there is reincarnation, who will go to heaven or hell, the original or...

Cain

Pose123 @Pose123 (21635) • Canada 2 Aug 07

In the book of Genesis, we read the story of Adam and Eve, and their sons, Cain and Abel. Since there were no other families in the world, where did Cain find a wife?

12 responses •

luzamper In the book of Genesis also, there is a verse which says that Adam and Eve had other sons and daughters and therefore it is probable that Cain got a wife from one of his sisters as there was no law yet prohibiting the marriage between brothers and sisters and...

Cain and Abel? Can you tell me why God didn't respect Cain's offering?

coolseeds @coolseeds (3919) • United States 26 Mar 07

Something I have always wondered. Why did god choose Abel's offering over Cain's? Which leads to several other discussions. Can someone tell me why god had no respect for Cain's offering?

thekidd I agree with you arseniajoaquin, Cain brought some of the fruits but Able brought Fat portions from some of the Firstborn of his flock. The contrast is not between an offering of plant life and an offering of animal life, but between a careless,thoughtless...

arseniajoaquin Abel offered the best to God with all his heart while Cain gave to God just the ordinary ones with ill-feelings which means that it did not come from his heart. He was not sincere in giving to God. That's why in the New Testament, it is stated that giving...
