janetepley Yes, I wear reading glasses. I wear contacts and kept putting off using reading glasses. When it got to the point that I might need a magnifying glass, I gave it!

Do You Still Feel God's Presence?

mjmlagat @mjmlagat (3170) • Philippines 7 Aug 08

Hello All! This question suddenly pops out my mind while reviewing some news articles on the current challenges the world is facing, obviously all of us are affected. I sighed in desperation how come things are harder even now...

janetepley Why could you not show your respect by using capital letters to write God and Christians. There is only one true God, show acknowledgement of this by using his name, God.

Do you care about grammar when ur in mylot?

kharen @kharen (1488) • Philippines 6 Aug 08

There are lots of people who are affected by just reading words which are misused even if it's just here in mylot. Typographical error is another thing. Are there mylotters here who reply to discussions just to correct the one who...

Would you just throw your pet out in the street if you couldn't have it anymore?

Linda4ualways @Linda4ualways (2282) • United States 1 Aug 08

It amazes me how people can just take their pets and leave them outside for anything to happen to them. This question stems from the recent incident with the 44 pound cat. It is sad the owner lost her home, but I would think that...

janetepley I think not! There are, in addition to shelters, many rescues now. You locate these rescues through search engines using your locality and type/breed of animal you have. I adore my dogs and was almost put in this situation by my husband who I am seperated...

janetepley I also want to say YOU don't ALLOW your mother to do this. You are lucky to have an active mother who cares about you and your children. The next commentor says you should get to know the man. That's true. If you are worried about your inheritance, ask your...

janetepley You know, this brings something very interesting to mind. On June 5, my husband told my son and me that he was moving to another city and filing for divorce. I had no disire whatsoever to hear music until last night. I blasted songs from the 70s and 80s on my...

How Strong Is Your Relationship With Your Siblings?

Muelitz @Muelitz (1592) • Canada 26 Jul 08

If you have a sibling (either a brother or a sister), were you very close when you were growing up? I had a kid brother 4 years my junior and a sister 11 years my junior. We were not so close when we were young...

janetepley I have a brother that is 3 1/2 years younger than me. When we were growing up, I adored my brother! As we got older, a combination of his alcohol use and my mother's interference caused us to grow apart. I remember grieving for years over the loss of my...

janetepley I can relate to your sister somewhat. Childbirth is painful and very intense. However, once you hold that precious baby in your arms, you think of nothing else regarding his/her birth. Your sister's fear may be masking another fear she has such as, will she be...

janetepley You did a great thing! I agree with a prior poster, you should call animal control about the other dogs. Do you watch Caesar Milan on Dog Whisper? He has wonderful tips. If I were you, I'd go to the public library and check out one or more of his books. If...
