My dreams or family expectations

kanchan taliwal @kanchiservai (6) • Virar, India 13 Oct 16

My wishes regarding career, job and life differ from that of my parents. I believe I would love to make my parents happy but I am not sure if I should drop my wishes for their happiness.

Laurel (L_B) It is your life you have to live it in a way that will make you happy. Your parents should support you in your decisions. Talk to them and tell them how you feel.

The Sunshine!! In the long run, your parents won't be happy if they see you not so happy in life just because of they made you do something, you did not want to. Save your parents from the guilt. Explain them what you want to do and what really will make you happy. Whatever...

Xavier Bage We must love and respect our parents but I think it'd be wrong to drop your wishes just to make them happy.Talk to them about your wishes. I am sure they love you and will do everything to make you happy.

Cool Whatever you have in your heart you react it out in behaviors which starts in the mind and the mind is the brain. For example if you are mad you are going to act in a negative way.

Jim stewart Well I think there is an old saying that says don't let your heart rule your head. Use gut instinct perhaps. Everyone is different with different approaches.
