littlebear Hi gabyperalta, just because you are at home with your baby and not earning a "wage" does not mean you are not working hard. Bring up a child is a huge responsibilty and takes a lot of time and energy. If you are not ready to go back to work and can survive on...

To use daycare or not to use daycare, that is the question....

sheenac1983 @sheenac1983 (63) • Canada 18 Feb 07

I have been faced with some issues recently regarding my choice to put my son in daycare. FYI: this is a long read, I apologize. I'll start from the top, I went back to work a couple months early from my maternity because...

littlebear I understand your predicament. I have recently gone back to work and have my child in care 2 days a week. In an ideal world I would love to be able to stay home with her full time. I have gone back to work for financial reasons - my husband and I do not have...

Doctors and medications, are they really that great for you in childbirth?

angelaplus2 @angelaplus2 (8) • United States 6 Feb 07

Okay, I got more into this ideal as I started looking up what all the drugs women use in childbirth can do to them. The doctors and such push all sorts of different types on women, without really telling them what they do(besides...

Did you give having children a lot of thought?

Tesa @xphile777 (426) • United States 6 Feb 07

It seems to me most people don't put much thought into have children. They grow up just assuming they'll have children because it's what's expected of them. But do they really sit down and consider whether they ready...

littlebear I have always wanted to have kids and when I was in my 20's and struggling with "the meaning of life" and what it was that we humans are put on earth for, it dawned on me that life was (for me) about procreation. Having said that I didn't just go out and...

i think there is people on this forum who are using 2 profiles as a way to get more money, can this be tracked or is there a way of finding out?

littlebear I don't see how having 2 profiles would be cheating. You would still need to spend time on the site and provide opinions and start discussions etc to make some money (if that is the reason you are on mylot). Perhaps someone has 2 profiles because they want...
