Parents!!

buffetwoman @buffetwoman (623) • United States 2 Dec 06

Ok here's my situation.... My parents gave us a sum of money for our daughter's education. (She's 11 months old) Well we had to use it to get into our current apartment as we were a bit strapped for money. It made me sick to do...

m25red This is tough but I just cant overlook a few things. Sure it is a bit crass for your parents to feel they need to treat you like a child but have you really shown them how much of an adult you are. Maybe your family has been through some tough times and that...

Croc Beach shoes/clogs: Do you like them? Or are they hideous?

brokentia @brokentia (10389) • United States 18 Nov 06

I am from Florida and grew up around the beaches. But I had not seen these shoes until moving to Oklahoma...where there are NO beaches. So why do they wear them here? They seem to be the fashion that people like here. But there is...

m25red One of my all-time favorites. He is just a natural. Unbelievably funny. Ironically my favorite movie might be Spanglish. A big thumbs down to Punch-drunk love.

Did I get "Black Balled" and not know it.

clever06 @clever06 (191) • United States 16 Nov 06

What does it take to get people to reply to good topics? I can't believe my top about McDonalds or Burger King got more love than any other I've started.

m25red Because the majority of the people here only care about $. I mean come on its just a few pennies. Try some substance and on with the revolt.

When will the rest of the world learn that soccer isn't football.

clever06 @clever06 (191) • United States 16 Nov 06

I don't care that soccer was called football first. The world can't deny the fact that American football will take over as the world's #1 sport. And if soccer is such a popular sport, whyare the most recognizable people in the...

m25red One word. PELE. american football will never crown a king that an entire nation bows down to. Plus there is a genuine distaste towards american football being derived from conversations like this. I prefer american football but you must admit the fact that...

Do fireman and women get the credit they deserve!

jessicagarner75 @jessicagarner75 (8) • United States 15 Nov 06

my husband is a fireman and i know how hard he works, to save peoples lives and homes but i feel that they do not get the credit they deserve! they are always first in and last out this is true!!

3 responses

m25red They will never get the credit they deserve. We live in a crappy time right now where kids especially would rather be rap stars or sports figures than heroes like fireman when i grew up.
