michellehughes Thank you for your reply Rosa. You are right, it is difficult. And I don't see it as a sacrifice. I guess my anger at the others comes because they just seem blind to the fact that she needs them now. They are just so wrapped up in themselves. But thank you...

michellehughes I bought some at the grocery that were already seasoned and I loved them. I tried them today with our own sweet potatoes and they just weren't the same. I love sweet potatoes, no matter how they are fixed! :)

michellehughes Thanks for your advice, on both MyLot and the sweet potato fries. I didn't realize that posts had to be longer. I tried a recipe for sweet potato fries today with just salt and pepper and didn't care for it because I'd rather them have more of a sweetness. I...

michellehughes My best friend has been my best friend for years. We've had ups and downs and we now live a couple of hours away from each other so we don't see each other a lot. But we write, and email and the one thing that stays the same is that no matter how long since...

These are very easy to make and they really give a touch of sophistication to your pillar candles! Just take some thin wire and twist in beads and you have a new way to make your candle stand out!

michellehughes I love books! In my opinion there is no technology that can take the place of actually sitting down and reading a book! There's just something about the feel, the touch, the turning of the page! It can not be replaced!
