So.... if you're a parent and your KID said this to you, what would be your first reaction? I know that this generation seems to be a lot more RUDE than the previous ones but still, do you think this is any way, shape, or form...

miyamiya Well, you just made a mistake right there: You took a kid seriously, especially in a situation that doesn't make sense. The more you wrap your head around it, the more it'll tick you off.

and you were forced to cut down on stuff...what would you cut out? the internet? cable? alcohol? smokes? i read an article about frugal living yesterday and they suggested cutting out cable. while i dont watch a lot of tv, there...

miyamiya I wouldn't mind cutting down my air intake. We could have masks that count how much air we consume, and we'd get fined if we go past a certain limit. I'd just take deep breaths that'll last longer rather than many short breaths.

I love my dad very much...But there is one thing that i hate abt him...HE THINKS HE IS TOO PERFECT...and the irritating thing is He is!!!...He has a will of Iron and does not have any insecurity what so ever.....I have made grave...

Taking shower when you have fever....

I have found my sisters not even trying to get the feel of the water when they used to have fever. I am better though. I love water and I have to have shower daily no matter what. In hot season, may be, 2-3 times!...

miyamiya Yeah, showers happen to be magical body healers or something. Cramps, minor colds, bone aches, a hot shower would always somehow "fix" it. It could be a psychological thing.

What's your take on the use of computers -internet even for very young children?

I don't approve of this for very young children. This is because I feel, it's too early for them. Most of us adults know the "addictive" effect of the internet in our daily lives. We spend less and less time to read, to interact...

miyamiya People should decide for themselves how they use the Internet and what they do on it. We all had to make decisions in real life as children, and the Internet is part of life of course. Just like how people are idiots in real life, people can be idiots online....

miyamiya No, there's no real need. If trashing a friend were necessary, the person wouldn't be a friend, now would he? If you're going to insult a friend, you might as well set the ground so that you're both enemies.
