I was just thinking about Scot Pruitt's remsrks about the coal industry and how Trump has added 500,000 new jobs. Turns out that was just another lie. God, don't they ever stop the lies. The true reason why Trump exited the...

Four Walls Remember the old joke: "How can you tell when a politician is lying?" "When his lips are moving." Politicians lie. That's what they do for a living. That should be in their job description...but it isn't, because all they do is lie.

With so many terrorists in the world plotting attacks, it is only a matter of the odds and time before an attack happens in our/your area. Have you made preparations for such an event?

dazzledlady It happened to me and it could happen to anyone. I think it is because of the monetary needs we have or the desire to have more. As for people who knew that it was a scam but entered anyway, well they were hoping they will get rich before it died down.

weird_oh_me Poverty of course is one major factor though we can say that some scammers are not from the lowest class of society. I guess the root of all these is the greed for money and material things.

Dominique There are plenty of reasons why people scam. Poverty may be one reason. Some people like taking advantage of people, as well. Whatever the reasons, I still feel bad for the victims.

drknlvly6781 Scamming happens simply because people like easy money. In many cases, especially online, that is true for the scammer as well as the person scammed. It has nothing to do with poverty, because if you are willing to work you will find some way to earn money...
