Happy Yes. Im still in touch with my school friends, even friends from elementary school. I'm 22 years old now, so we've been friends for about 16 years old. When we had holidays, we often spent time together. That's so much fun.

I am not sure if all will agree with me but I have seen many time even a stray dog start caring for you. Dogs understand human emotions much better than human.
