how much should we consume in a day?

It is believed or mostly now a routine that we should feed at least thrice a day,but who said that should be the routine? can't we go extreme to consume more? or less for that matter....wat if you have too much that you cant...

nickmor Responses through the world currently suggest the average person eats 5lbs of meat,1.6lbs of dairy product,2lbs of fat and oil,8lbs of fruit,7lbs of vegetable,5 lbs of grain,4 lbs of sugar a day for a total of 4.7 lbs per day.thats whats up
