Hello everyone! How does one succeed on this site?

Hello to one and all! I will look around for a while, as an eagle might do, and scout the place out and familiarize myself with how it works. What do you like about myLot? Any tips on how to succeed and do well on this site?

Courage7 This site is simply amazing..you become like a little family here. I dont know that is how I would describe it. Also just read and follow the guidelines and that helps. It is fun here Baldy, welcome. It is very minimal in rules really....

DB It is true to be careful with providing to much information on websites. As long as you don't provide both name and photo one should be safe.

PaintsOnSlate I don't use my name and my photo is old...I have made friends here that I trust and have visited with them in real time. I don't give info to everyone, only those that I have known for a long time on line and I use the private message that is here for us to...

JJ Probably not much danger to it. facebook requires your real name and you don't hear about millions of people having their identity stolen or anything like that from it.

Courage7 There is always risk with that. I feel more comfortable as I am, sort of anonymous. You are right danger lurks everywhere.

What'sUp_Cel @oneboldeagle Nope, I haven't experienced about hacking but I've read lots of reviews and news that they can easily hack your accounts if you give your accounts details so just to be safe I follow their advice.

Amber @akalinus You are so right. And what about the people who post their location? I remember seeing my brother-in-law post that he and his family were at the movies, and it showed where the theater is located. What a great time for someone to know they can go rob...

Jo Ann @AmbiePam You have to set your privacy settings so that only your friends can see your photos. I also hide my friends to keep internet fiends from exploiting them and have disconnected access to my FB from other sites.
