Mylot please please tell us why we are loosing Points I have just lost another 6 why
I know I am chancing deletion here but I have written and asked
Please send an Alert or something so that we know
I do not remember replying to so many Discussion that are aparently against the Guidelines
Many Members here are getting dishearted now because no one is explaining why we are loosing Points
So please do not delete this just please let us know
I love this Site but I am getting worried to log in now as I have lost 50 points in 5 Days
All the loyal and good Members are getting upset and not being here as much
So I beg you mylot do not delete this Post just let us know what is happening

Hello my friend. I just don't think myLot reads our discussion. The only time they read is when someone reports it, then they delete it or leave it. They definitely won't reply here or send you a pm to explain. If you do, tell me, together with some numbers so that I may try my hand on lottery.

I know Wiz but we need answers somehow even an Alert to explain why this happening I know that I have not replied to that many Discussions which where not in the Guideline as it has been said before it is getting scary now to respond to Discussions

Wiz and Gabs, I have lost a total of over 80 points in the last three weeks. Yesterday I pm'd myLot and have just received a reply saying they are investigating a lot of similar complaints and that things will be rectified.
This is their message:
We have had several users lose a large amount of points and we are looking into why this is happening. We will let everyone know once we correct the issue and you will see the change in your points.

And they said they have received many complaints and are investigating? NICE. I sure hope that it is some glitch and members can be compensated. It sure doesn't make sense since even the admin(s) cannot work that fast to eliminate so many posts within a short time.

Wow... I'm going to have to check mine now, Gabs, as you have lost a lot of points. We know the basic reason why we lose points, but fifty does seem rather high. I lost seven a couple of days ago, but today, my earnings total seems to keep increasing, one cent at a time, having increased in total now by some twenty-three cents on yesterday's update. I don't expect it to last. I daresay it will plummet again before payment, but as you say, a small explanation would help us not to make the same mistake again.
Thank you for this discussion. I hope it stays because it's of value to other members whose moral is lowering because of their losses.

Mine has increased to and that has happened before and it stays so I do not know why that is happening either Sweet I just wish they would explain to us that is all I want nothing else whether it is the Points or the increase or what but no one knows why we are loosing and gaining

That is a really good question!!! I was up to 4150 the other day, and I was disheartened to see my total go all the way back down to 4120. That was rather distressing to me. I don't understand what happened, and like the rest, I would really like to know.

it always upsets me too at this time of the month, have we done anything wrong? mylot seemed to suggest it was discussions breaking the guidelines that got deleted. OK, i can see the logic in this, but the rules seem to regularly change. Because of the constantly changing rules no one ever knows what discussions break the guide lines, maybe this is the general idea. Over the last few days ive lost over 40 points, as with you I didnt realise i had responded to so many violate discussions

nor mine Gabs but it certainly happened last night to me. I too cant imagine what was wrong with the discussions i have answered, nor have i had any deleted as far as i can tell.
All i can think of is that mylot might be deleting old discussions, i once heard they do this periodically

Gabs sorry to hear you are losing points. I have lost a few but nothing for me to worry about. On the other hand a few of my friends keep losing more and more. and your right they do get upset. All that typing and hard work and then they lose their points. Hopefully someone will help.

I recently saw where one member was very upset and rightly so. He had lost 550 posting points in one day's time. I have checked his profile several times to see how he is doing. At one point he was down to 4 posting points left and then the next time I checked on him, he was up to about 73. I feel bad for him. Many of his postings were actually deleted. Now he responds to discussions but does not start as many as he used to. I think he might be afraid to start any. That could be very discouraging to any member here.
I agree that communication between the members and the administration needs to be more open and greatly improved.

Can I join your "where did my points go" party? It seems to be happening to alot of us, so we might as well make the best of it. I lost about 30 points the other day and then a few here and there since then. I still haven't figured out what got deleted. I really wish mylot would tell us something. Many people are upset and there are a bunch of rumors going around that mylot is falling. They need to tell us the truth or offer some sort of explanation. I fear that many people will leave. Many now are afraid to post anything.

I know what you mean. I lost quite a bit there for a couple of days but I haven't seen any notices on it. I also noticed though I didn't lose any earnings. All of that makes me wonder if maybe they are deleting really old discussions. Ones from 6 months or more ago and have been inactive for some time. I know when I first joined in Decemeber I posted to some that were several months old at that time. So it could be they are trying to conserve server space by either deleting or maybe moving old ones. That's all I can think of since we aren't losing earnings just points.

Well it might be if you did comments as well inside the discussions. The first comment you make in someone else's discussion gives you a point. So for example your comment here if it was your first it will give you a point, the same with responding. So if you only commented, it doesn't show up ever in your discussions I replied to but it could have added a point. Just thought I'd let you know on that one.
I have no clue to be honest if I have any missing. I have a lot I've responded to so your guess is as good as mine. I agree it is frustrating when we don't know. It would be nice if they told us what was going on. I hate feeling like I'm a mushroom :)

If it helps any I just lost another 40 points. I have no clue what is going on. I had 7050, I did two responses and then it was down to 7012. Go figure. I really wish they would explain.

hi Gabs, i have also observed as i also lost points 2 days in a row. Like i dont know their basis as i dont think i disobeyed any guidelines too. Im glad you open up this and like you i love this site and i hope also they will let us know or send us alerts and state what guidelines we disobeyed if ever there is or if there is a discussion that was deleted that caused the decreased. To be honest I never keep a check of my score, but now you have mentioned this I will keep a lok out.
Do you think it has something to do with the system and maybe, as there are so many new members they have to delete some who make alot of discussions. I haven't had one of mine deleted as far as I know, but then I tend to respond more than make discussions.
I think they should have the decency to inform you why this is happening as mylot is making alot of money out of us.

well said Gabs, angel - after all the posts about posts made me look at my points last night and yep this morning there were 8 gone! A lot of people are getting upset and disheartened over this issue and are staying away from mylot! If they would only respond and let us know why it wouldn't be so bad! Admin must be aware of what is going on as so many people have tried to contact them to no avail! I do not mind if this post and response do get deleted as we will lose points either way! I hate to see this wonderful community affected by this! xxx

I´m sorry you lost so many points, gabs. You might remember that I started a discussion about losing points as well and you know what happened to it. Even if this loss doesn´t affect our earnings, don´t they realize that people get frustrated? There seems to be a general paranoia now. Nobody knows what to expect. If the rules change, they should let us know. All we´re asking for is more information. It will help us and them .

Yes Dana I do know so I understood loosing it there and it did not bother me but to loose so many and not know why is very frustrating

Hey Gabs Im hearing this alot from the members too. I really havent been checking my points ever since they took it off for us to view. We have to go to our profile to see our points which I didnt like that idea at all. I rather see my points to keep tract. I hope they deal with this or mylot will loosing alot of the members here.

i dont think that mylot will be answering this discussion buddy.and you are right the points are decreasing like crazy nowadays and people are really getting frustrated.people who never violate the rules intentionally are also having their points reduced badly.well and none of us are sure what actually is going on.i think my lot are trying to keep their content clean and stick to good quality.that is what i can figure.

gabs i understand your feelings. mylot admin should look into this matter seriously. Thanks for drawing their attention to it. I'm a newbie here, and after reading this I shall also be disappointed. We should be warned about it when we commit mistakes. We should be told through prior notices via email or private messages about our wrongdoings (although nobody would want to do it intensionally) still in a process of earning or whatever purpose we are here for, one would commit mistakes or go against policy set by mylot.
