This was my favorite show this season and I was really upset about them canceling it. And then the last show of the season which is also the last show period left a lot of unanswered questions. And all the problem with the show is the networks fault. If they had just ran it through without all the interruptions which caused people to lose interest it would still be going. I don't under stand this two months on, two months off programming that the networks started doing this year. I guess we have USA and SciFi channels to thank for this. It also seems that apocolyptic shows do not seem to last. Showtime had an excellent show with Jeramiah a couple of years ago and it never returned after the end of the first season. Sigh!

I know. I think part of the problem with these shows is that they might be expensive to produce, so they produce fewer episodes. But, they want to stretch them out through the regular season. If things are so expensive nowadays, then they should just split the season, not have these big gaps in the middle of it.

This is so bloody ridiculous!
Why make a show like this, not even tie the ends in on the season finale, and then refuse to bring it back the next season. I think they made a dumb move putting it on Thursday nights against Lost, they should have had it on Mondays or Fridays - cancelling it is a bad idea. Hell, if they can play that stupid show NUMB3RS they can play this one!!

Where I live, Jericho was on Wednesday at 8pm and Lost is on the same day at 10pm, so I didn't see a conflict. In fact, that whole 8pm Wednesday slot is pretty bad across the board. I had to record it as I work on Wednesday nights and missed part of it otherwise.

Jericho has officially been cancelled. I really hate to see it go. It was a great show. I wish they would at least do a special on it this summer so that we aren't left hanging like this.

Yes, I just heard. It's not on the fall schedule. I, also, wish they would do some sort of special to tie up loose ends.

I was really ticked off when I heard this. I love this show, and it's one of the best new shows on TV. I will miss it, and surely write to the network to voice my opinion.

There was another person who said the same thing and started a thread about it. I can't remember the link, though. I remembered when they canceled Joan of Arcadia. This is getting to be a habit for CBS. Perhaps they just don't think they can write/produce another 20 episodes, or something.

That is just ridiculous! How can they possibly end the show like that?! They can keep shows like 7th Heaven and Gilmore Girls going forever, but Jericho isn't having a 2nd season...I think my heart just broke!

Ooo! I'm sorry. Well, it's not 100% official, yet, from what I've heard. But, all the buzz seems to say that it is. I hope you won't be mad at me if I'm wrong (I was quoting TV guide's article).

CBS caused viewers to stop watching by pulling the show for a long period of time. The show really showed promise when it started and then no more show. CBS will post their schedule tomorrow, but I expect this news is correct. Its a shame that we are left hanging again.

Yes, from what Elkhawk says, the new schedule will come out tomorrow. I have also heard things about NBC's schedule, too.
