weee! I love the wind. the soft air that it gives off, it refreshen everyones day! it makes the hot head of a person cool. It straightens the forehead of a person with a problem. ah, so much for the fan definition. now we go to the real question. how many fans do you have? in our house we have 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9. oh we had 9 mighty fans that help us out throughout the day. I love fan more than aircon. I grew up with the fan and I will die with the fan ha ha!I can't sleep without fan. I really need it badly ha ha! Now, I can see the good side of it just like what I mention above right? so now its your time to answer.. :)

No matter what time of year, I like to have a fan blowing on me while I sleep. It makes a little noise to block out the other noises around me, and it keeps me nice and cool while I sleep. We've just moved to an area where very few people have air conditioning, so I think I will be buying more fans very soon! We only have one right now.

the fan is really different from the aircon. It can give a person the feel of hate or like. It depends on the person and the country and the temperature and the... :)

We have 2. Right now they are by the woodstove to help circulate the heat. But when it gets warmer one will be in the kitch and one in the hallway to help keep the house cool. I can not sleep with a fan on in my room I freeze and it doesn't matter what time of year

well sweets I do have one that I had to get when I was pregnant with my youngest! Here in Scotland their only tends to be a need for fans for a few weeks in the year and most people do not have fans or air con as there is simply no need for them! I do love to have mine switched on when we do have a very hot summers day though! xxx

I do have electric fans in my home. I have one in my room and one in my daughters room. Downstairs in my home is very cool and nice, there is no need for a fan so much. Upstairs in the bedrooms is very warm for some reason so we need fans up there. I also like to fall asleep to the sound of the fan, it is very comforting to me.

I had about 4 electric fan in our house. One in my room, second in my parent's room, and two in our sparepart room. My parents run a motorcycle spareparts right in front of our house. I can't sleep without fan too, it's because the air in my country is just way too hot. So, we surely need a fan.

I have two electric oscillating fans in my house. I also have 3 ceiling fans. We use central air to cool our home, but we use our fan ceiling fan and an oscillating fan in our bedroom. we use a ceiling fan for our living room and spare bedroom also. My daughter uses an oscillating fan for her room too. My husband and I cannot sleep without a fan on also no matter how hot or cold it is.

Like you, I also grew up with fans in the house, but now I only have 1 because I live in a small apartment. My main source of cooling is my AC, but when the weather is just right and there's a good breeze blowing in I turn it off. I use a fan in my bedroom constantly because the AC is too much.

We have three electric fans, two bigger and a small one for travels. In the summer the electric fan is my best friend, sometimes there are 30 degrees inside and is very umpleasant.

We have 3 fans used in different rooms. No matter what the weather is, we use it from time to time. It gets stuffy at times so the fan helps remove the stuffiness . I have a table fan on my desk in my office at work, I use it all the time.

yes I also have some cold in the morning so I put the fan away from me and put it in circulating mode so that the air will be not focused on me and so I'll have no cold in the morning.. no more runny nose ha ha

I do have 1 fan in the bedroom. I like to have it on when I'm sleeping. The only problem is aggravates my allergies. I guess it blows around all the dust and pollen in the air.

Right now I have a big fan in my living room. There are some smaller fans that we used to use too, but I think some of them were scrapped when we moved because they weren't in the best condition. Last year we wound up buying an air conditioner because it was really hot and our baby was getting overheated. He was really young then and we were worried about it actually being bad for him, being too warm. So now we have the A/C, which we only use when it is very very hot. I'm really glad we have it, because I'm getting to where I don't like the heat much.

Cool Blue Fan - A cool blue fan.
I guess we have a total of 11 fans in the house. It's very hot nowadays and I just can't stand the heat and the sticky feel I get when I don't have a devoted fan on my face. Generally, I prefer electric fans than airconditioning as I easily get cold during night time on cold months. But now that it's summer again, I wish for the cold breeze of the aircon and plans to purchase one for my room. Oh well, this is just a passing thing and it always happens every summer.:)

I have 4 electric fans. Currently, only 3 fans are constantly used here. I have to admit though that I'm not used to sleeping with electric fan. Its always the air conditioner. I prefer a cooler surrounding. I guess I'm used to the winter season when I stayed in the US before.

ah cool environment and surrounding. I think its true for my relatives who stayed in the U.S. and Europe, when they come back here, they go for the aircon rather than the fan. :)

I have five of them in my house but currently I am using only one of them occasionally when things really get hot. The reason for not using the rest is because they are placed in the bedrooms and I use air conditioning units in the bedrooms. The one that is being used is the one in the living room since there is no AC there.
