I know there are a lot of people here who do. It would be nice to know how to find people on there that also are on here so that I can read what you have wrote there. I actually have really just got going with that site, but am trying to get stuff in there at least once a week.
Is there anyone making a living off of that site? I know they pay not too bad, but I was wondering if there is anyone making most of their online Income a month from there, and what are some Tips you want to share that helped you with that site?
All thoughts appreciated. Thanks!!

I started writing for AC when I was between jobs. My husband is in the military so it's hard to get more than temp jobs because I never know when we could be moving, and the employeers out here prefer hiring locals since they're less likely to move away in the near future.
I make around $4.50 an article (mostly exclusive rights) so for awhile I was making about $30 a week. I've slacked off but am trying to get back into it again since I realized how much I can make if I devote a few hours a day to writing.
The tip that helped me the most is using http://www.textalyser.net to check my keyword density. Keyword density is how often you use certain words and phrases that will make it show up in internet searches. I've noticed that articles I put through textanlyser and edited make more money on the initial offer, and get many more page hits.

Thanks for sharing these tips with me. I will have to consider trying it the next time I submit an Article. I actually have a couple I need to submit, so this will be interesting to try and see if it helps the amount of hits, and pay I get the next time.

I wrote a lot for AC last year, and made pretty decent money at it, at least for something I was doing part-time (I had a full time job also). I don't have nearly as much free time now, so I haven't written a lot lately (only four articles since January).
If you want to read some of my articles, my CP site is: http://www.associatedcontent.com/user/19234/dawn_a_vogel.html

I know what it is like to not have much time to be online, and post stuff in here and AC, etc. Life does seem to be slipping by so fast anymore. But I am going to check out your Articles, and Add you so I can follow your stuff on there when you Add in New stuff.

I am registered there, but have not gotten going yet. Do you use your screen name from here? I will be watching this discussion, like you, I know that a lot of my friends write there. I guess I did not realize that you can make an actual living there, just "extra money" whatever that is. It has been forever since I have had "extra money". What kinds of things do you write? I would like to read some of your articles.

Well, actually on Associated Content I use my Real name there. I have been only submitting one or two things a week on there actually, but making more on there than I do here on myLot. I have heard there are people who make at least $100 a month there which would be nice, but that would mean submitting about 20-25 articles there a month most months. I will send you a personal message with my link so you can read my articles I have wrote there, and comment on them if you wish.

I have written for them and had minor problems too. Some are unhappy since the pay has seemed to go down. I have several that I need to put on there, just don't have the time. A girlfriend of mine is doing ok there. They say you could earn 500 a month. Seems like alot of articles. About 3 a day with maybe Sunday off. Good luck to you!!

I was interested in this site and had a look through it, because I figured hey, if they pay you for writing articles, it can't be all bad.
Then I found out that they don't pay outside of the States, and well, I'm in Canada lol, so that blew that idea out of the water. I've seen a lot of people though who have written articles there, and if they ever decide to pay people in Canada, I would definitely join them.

I have written some articless for Associated Content but they don't pay much. In order to make any money you have to write a lot for them. You can read my articles via http://natyrosado.com - I believe it would be difficult to make a living out of Associated Content. It would be better to send the articles to magazines that pay more.

Well, with sites like Associated Content, and Helium I do not give them the rights to keep my work there only ever, as I feel these sights are just a start until I get a better draft if I need too on the Article or topic so I can consider submitting some of my work to Magazines, etc. My real Goal is to eventually become a Writer, but I feel places like this are a Good place to start.

Boy do I understand this one. It is quite hard sometimes to keep up with it all. I actually seem to always never have all of the time involved to Write for AC and also do other things I need to do.

I write for them. I don't make too terribly much because I don't give them exclusive rights to almost anything, and I only submit a few pieces each week, but you can have a look at my page if you want. http://www.associatedcontent.com/user/46507/bun_girl.html Honestly though, if you've read most of my posts here on myLot, you've probably already read most of what's on there.

Most of the writing I have done is family history. I have a 5000 word document. Part of it was published in a book called "Arrows of Hope" about two years ago.
I would like to publish our Family ghistory, as a single book, with photos, certicates, etc. I really need to do more research first.
There are some My Lotters who are published writers who may be able to help you out more.

Well, I know my Dream is to be a published author, and I am really hoping to be there someday. Being online in sites like myLot, Associated Content, etc. are just a beginning Stepping stone for me. I know that I am Glad there are these sites.
Good Luck in achieving your Dream of wanting to publish your Family History. I feel anyone here can achieve their dream if they put their mind to it.

I've been a writer for almost 2 months now and I've been earning pretty good with it. So far I've been paid almost $200.00 so that would probably average at about $100.00 a month. This is how I'm making most of my monthly income as far as making money from the internet. You can view a few of my articles at:
http://www.associatedcontent.com/user/70069/silent_thinker.html
I'm also a member of writing.com where I have a few of my short stories posted. Feel free to view them at: http://writing.com/authors/msbiggs24
All feedback is appreciated!

Yes, I write for them - http://www.associatedcontent.com/user/54602/artexplorations.html - I managed to keep very busy with them when I first started, but then I slacked off when the level of rejections were getting irritating about a month or so ago. Ironically, I just started submitting again last night after reading their last message about writing about what you know. I'm a fountain of useless information - time to give it a home on AC. LOL

I write for Associated Content. I have been on there for about 2 months. My pen name on there is Cheryl Dennett. There is a yahoo group you can join and people from the group all go and view your articles. The name of the group is PromoteYourACArticles. Do a search for that and you will find the group. It has helped my page views a lot. I make about $100 a month at Associated.

I am not making my living off of AC, but it has come in handy since I have had some finiancial difficulties. I havn't been on here recently because I, like most people, prefer (and even need) $8.00 over my $0.72 that I get here.

I am still new to AC, but have 4 articles already published. Only two have been for payment. The others were rejected for payment, but I resubmitted them for non-payment. I will pm you with my emaill address for AC if you would like to check them out. Best of luck!

I would have wanted to, but they do not accept works
by people who are not living in the United States. For
what reason, I do not know. Maybe they do not have any liking for
stories crafted by writers from other countries, and they would much prefer to publish stories from other countries written by writers living in the US. Or maybe, just maybe, they do not
want any hassle with the IRS with regards to dollar
payouts they may made to writers outside of the US.
Dont you think?
