get your discussion seen..tag it!!!!

i alway tag my discusions and my replies. you are right it is a good idea to do so if you want your discussion answered. so keep on tagging folks

Hey there Yanji... Thakns for shareing that... Actually I always try to use a lot of tags whenever I start my discussions, but somehow I have seen that one or the other reason I haven't ever managed to get enough of responses. May be my topics weren't good enough, or may be the way, or the tags. I think I need to be a little bit more innovative while writing my headlines. An also sometimes I feel like its a work of good timing. Like starting your discusion during afternoon. I have heard that you get more responses then. It is important to make your tags as relevant as possible to the discussion or in the case of blogs to the posting that is being made. Tagging is very important I do believe in this age of Web 2.0. I tag mine regularly. I didnt it before. Actually i see no difference between the number of responses now and before. if i dont tag, the system of MyLOt puts automatic taggs too.

I always tag everything I do- It helps people find my discussions when searching- It also helps eliminate the double postings of the same topics- I always use the search first before starting a new topic- tags are what we search by- I also heard that you get paid more if you tag your writings- So I tag new discussions, responses to others disucssions -- basically everytime it asks me to tag I tag!

You are right. Tag helps to search discussions with keywords. I generally tag any discussion I start or give any response. Thanks for the info.

I started tagging my discussions and comments from the start. When I did my first post, a message said I was almost done. I believed it and finished up like a good boy. I've never done the "skip-it" option. I just thought it was a good idea to help get more discussions covered and seen by more people. I've never been very rebellious. lol.

When I was a new user I really enjoyed that factor. I could get my thoughts on one subject, and then drop down to the bottom and answer a few more on the topic. It helped me organized and coherent. I always tag. Others have also indicated that you get higher pay per post if you consistently tag. It seems like a pain, but like you said, it gets you seen and noticed. When someone picks up on an older discussion it comes back to the top and gets more responses again.

I always tag my discussions and my responses.I learn these from the first days.I have some friends that never do.I told them over and over,I even sent pm to some of them.I also said it to many newbies.You know I like response to new members and many of them didn't know.If I saw always I add as a small comment at the end of the post. Hello there. I think so too. I always tag all of my discussions that I start and even the ones that I respond to as well. I think there are many advantages to it also. You make a very good point here.

I hate them sometimes I just skip them I must admit, but, I suppose they are a necessary evil, thanks for pointing it out to us how important it is yanji!

Hello,.yanjiaren,no matter i am staring discussions or replying,i will always tag,according to the mylot discussion rules,we have to tag when we have chance to do so,I am not sure whether tagging will affect out earning,but it is not that hard to do so,just type in few words and more people will see your discussions.
