Well you all know Gissi's obsession with Patchouli Oil
I came back from my Physio today and Gissi sat nice in front of the Fire I could not think why at first but of course it is where the Bottle is and I had not put a couple of Drops on a Tissue for him today
Well I did then
I have just been out with him and I bumped into the Lady whose Dog is scared of Gissi cause he keeps barking at her
Well we where talking but so was Gissi. I picked him up to try and quieten him and the Lady stroked him as I am about to leave she says "Doesn't he smell lovely, has he got Aftershave on?
I stand and explain to her the Situation with the Patchouli Oil She starts to laugh and says "What an amazing little Fellow he certainly takes pride himself" lol
Now this is terrible I mean People believing Gissi is wearing aftershave
Of course because he got fussed and complimented he walked like a Lord Head up ears up and tail up ( Little Show of) He seemed really proud of himself lol

There is nothing wrong with that. It is much better than saying, "Yuck, your dog sure smells like a dog" or wet wool. He is making friends and perhaps the patchouli oil would be the solution to his not getting along with the other dog. Put a little oil on her, and see if they do not become fast friends. He certainly provides the neighborhood with some good entertainment.

I do not do formal aroma therapy, but I do know that different fragrances benefit in different ways. It seems if the little guy likes certain scented oil, that he should be allowed it.

Well i didn't know about Gissi's obession with Patchouli oil. LOL. Maybe i missed that post of yours. Well Gissi must have smelled lovely for lady to commend him to have had a aftershave. haha. I think Gissi took it as compliment and is proud of it. LOL. And so he is showing off. Hope you too are having good time. happy mylotting. :)

LoL Oh Gabs thanks for the laugh that was historacal. I can just see him now walking with head up like that. It such a visuall thing! I Knew he was a little ham the first time I saw his videos. I will thinking about that today and laughing!

Good boy, Gissi! The image of the boy strutting and showing off just how handsome he is is just so cute and funny! And he smells nice too! He's got everything, doesn't he? I would be proud of him too, Mummy! And how was Physio for you, dear Gabs? How many times do you have to go? How long is your session? Just grin and bear it, it will make you feel a whole lot better in the long run. Just came back from Mt. Sinai Hospital myself just now, for the follow up to that painful cytoscopy done a few weeks ago. On Wednesday I go to my stroke doctor (the one who ordered the nerve damage tests) to let me know the results of the latest MRI. This whole health thing is such a fulltime job, isn't it?! I am getting a bit short on patience here, but can't be helped, I guess. You take care and give the handsome nice smelling "beau" a treat for me and tell him he makes Granny SG laugh and she loves him for it!

Well it wasn't to bad this afternoon but tonight I am in quite some Pain so I am of to bed soon
Yes he is quite a Fellow lol and I have told him that he makes you laugh he sends you a big Hug

Now that I know what Gissi looks like I can just picture him strutting around and looking proud. He probably is a show off but when you think about it what he went through before he found his mom he has a right to be. I smiled when I read this. Momma's little show off.

Yes, I can just see him strutting his stuff like he was the king of the world! LOL. At the pet shops here, they actually sell "doggie cologne"....really, that's what it says on the bottle. And they smell pretty good too. They wouldn't last on my two hellions though...they would just roll it off in the dirt in the back yard.

He is truly an amazing little fellow. He understands when people are talking to him and about him. It is incredible that you have to explain that he is not wearing aftershave.

You be careful Gissi's head is going to get so big he will not fit into the door. LOL. I think she was being silly and does not beleive it, and if she does well then she is silly
