Okay most it seems here have not read nor understand the guidelines. For the past 2 days there has to be over 100 discussions about Chris Benoit. And just as many if not more about payday and the such. The guidelines state under the "DO'S".."Make sure you search for existing topics before starting new discussions." If one was to type in the search bar under the tab discussions in mylot it would show the multitude of these types of discussions. The possibilities of any or all being deleted are resasonable to say the least. I think I replied to quite a few. Now I may lose those points as well. I just wanted to reinstill the guidelines here and please member read and follw them as it costs us points and earnings all around when discussions and or responses and comments get deleted. Thanks for the time to bicker about this issue. I will not respond to Benoit nor payday discussions. http://www.mylot.com/o/guidelines.aspx HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Oh well, if they delete this discussion then I guess they don't really care much about people following the guidelines... I do get tired of seeing the same thing over and over and also don't respond to them.

Oh the other night I was shown a 'cheater' that had responded to over 100 discussions on 'insomnia' - he had pasted the same response which was plagerized off a web site onto every single discussion. What he did was wrong but why on earth were there so many discussions on one topic. One I was going crazy with and haven't seen in awhile was 'I got my star'.

I have to agree with you as well as "if you want to earn a gazillion dollars a day please reply to". Man I get so tired of all of them and most but not all are from new, people. I am not stupid if I want to earn money on the net, all I have to do is open the 47 junk mails I get at least twice a day all wanting to give me money. I really want to scream at them read the guidelines,//////, and I refuse to report them anymore as I could spend all my time just doing that. Thanks for letting me vent Bob Robin

Goodness, 100 discussions about Chris Benoit. I don't bother with anything like that. People are just wasting their time over these multiple & repeated discussions. Some of them are probably even copied. I don't know people who can't think of something interesting to discuss, just do responses. You can earn just as much.

You wouldn't do that, as it would be no fun. You will post well, and show us pretty flowers and luscious fruits. By the way, have you heard of a lemon cucumber?

I saw 2 members copy the news story from mylot news section and post that as theirs. Unreal. I am about to stop discussions and start responding only soon. Or start myself with the 1 liners and copied discussions. HAHAHAHA!! HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

I know what you mean. I got really tired of seeing Paris Hilton discussions, like geeze, who cares? And I don't even know who Chris Benoit is and haven't even read any of those even though I saw them here. And what's with one question discussions? Like, what is your favorite color, food, or whatever? Those aren't discussions, they are one line questions? And yet, those are the ones that get tons of responses. I don't get that.

...you won't. LOL Just as I won't, because even though there are a lot of repeat discussions and even lame discussions, there are still a lot of good discussions. Sometimes, it's worth it just to read the responses!

I'm curious about rule enforcement, as between that and direct referral posting of different programs on threads, it seems like a lot of the rules are ignored, or enforced arbitrarily. This being that I have looked back in the message history and can see many topics in the past with the 'flood' of discussions created.

Yes there has been many like you state. And this topic is also one. But this is in referance to a discussion being started then within an hour theres maybe 25 along the EXACT same lines. That's what I mean. Hope you understand now. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

People got the same ideas when one starts an opinion on the discussion. The other ones like to get the topics at their post or profile. I have to be careful not to repeat the same answers in order to get the earnings under its rules.

I have not read or participated in any of these discussions. Heck, I have no clue as to who this guy is anyway. Sorry, the only celeb that rings my bell is Paris...lol. I'm writing her in for president when voting times comes around.

I sure have noticed a lot of the same posts lately. I'm having a hard time finding posts to respond to without repeating everyone else now. Is everyone tired of posting new topics?

I know what you mean, grandpa. I wonder why some of the discussions were not deleted by mylot. Seems like more and more people are spamming this site. I even have some friend's request whom I accepted and within the minute, they will paste their links on my beautiful comment section or PM about this and that. Its irritating.

I'm sick and tired of it as well. I recently added a friend and most of his discussions he's started have to do with mylot. I mentioned to him several times that his discussions are going to end up being deleted and he will lose earnings as well as the ppl who have responded to his posts yet he still does it so I end up just deleting the notifications from him in my inbox soon as I read the title. I'm not responding to any of his or any others that pretains to mylot when they are in the guidelines or have already been started.

Then let me be clear: you're sitting there complaining on how you see several of the same discussion--ok, that's fine. You also said that you weren't going to respond to the discussions mentioned in your post. I'm making the point that no one is forcing you to do so.....

that's kind of what I was talkin about in a previous post. I hate it when people just keep startin the same discussions. Just like the news, all they talked about was that stupid Paris Hilton gettin out of jail. WHO CARES? I havent been on for a while so I aint ran across those discussions yuet.

I couldn't have said it better. There are so many members here who either don't understand the guidelines or don't care enough about them to follow them, and then all they do is sit around whining about losing their points when their discussions are deleted. I wonder if they care though about members who responded to their discussions and lost their points. I don't respond to these either, nor to any other discussions that look like they will violate the guidelines. I may still get caught up in one or two where my response gets deleted, but if I do respond to one of these discussions, I do it knowing that the discussion, and my response, will probably be deleted.

You and I know that people aren't going to do that. At least on here because they know that they can get paid for creating a new discussion. Therefore, they should realize that their discussion(s) may be deleted because they didn't search. Solution: Report the "repeat" discussions. It just seems only fair to do that, especially if there are over 30 discussions asking the same thing. Have a nice day. Pablo

Well Grandpa Bob, it is too tedious to search for similar topics. I confess I don't do it myself. :P I just make sure that whatever I write is original and that's as far as I take it. I can understand why those questions kept getting repeated. I answer some of them 10 times too though I have a feeling they end up getting deleted. Oh well, this is life. We can only do what we can. Cheers.:)

I found the same thing but the most surprising to me is that why these common post are not modified by the myLot moderators often? You know what everyday so many new members ar jining, may be some of them starts posting ( to earn money only) without properly reading the guidelines. So this site must be monitored all the time to keep it in track to see if all the rules and guidelines are followed. it is hard to do something by the members because all of the members do not read all of our posting so awareness can only be grown by kind of some general announcement or something.....? yes i also feel tired sometime reading the same thing one after another just with a changed header
