Would you dye your hair

My natural Hair color is a medium blonde but I have been dying it light blonde for years now if you do not buy cheap and nasty Hair Color and you treat your Hair regular there is no danger

I've gone blonde a few times, but my mom wants me to dye it so it isn't grey. So, I asked if she wanted me to dye it purple. she said that was fine. Then - shock of shocks - she said she wanted hers dyed too. I asked if she wanted it purple too, she said YES!!! I don't understand that - my 80, nearly 81 yr old mom wants to dye her hair purple!!!! I'm not sure if she meant it or not!

i've dyed my hair a couple of times and i guess adding with perming, it resulted in very very dry hair. at times like that, i really wish that i did not dye my hair in the first place but i can't turn back the clock. (i used to have very soft and healthy hair). if you really want to dye your hair for a change, then take the time and effort to maintain it so that it can be in good condition.

I have and never will put anything in my hair. I dont want to ruin it and I would be too scared too also.

I think I 'll keep mine the way it is I am strawberry blonde , I don't have any gray showing and it comes to the middle of my back , I think auburn would be pretty color , is you hair long or short?

My hair is brunette, with a slight reddish tint, and I must admit, that I do dye it,every now and then, just to cover my gray. I have never tried any wild colors, although my daughter did put a little more of a reddish brown on once, and I felt wierd. lol I always wanted to be a blonde, but have never been that courageous, so just stick to my own color. Just dye it a similar color to yours the first time, and see if you like it.

Yes, like Zu above. I have been dyeing my hair a Blue Black with streaks of purple. There are times that I get bored and I do Blue. And times that I will mix the streaks with purple AND blue. But I have been dyeing my hair like this for 5 or 6 years now. :) So, would I dye it and what color? ha ha All the time and black, purple, and blue. :D

I really want dye my hair purple. I've wanted to for a long time; since I was in my mid teens. I have to do it soon or wait until I get really old with all white hair. Otherwise, I'll be to adult to do anything that crazy.

Yes I would dye it , I have never dyed my own hair but often have friends dye it for me . My natural color is brown but it looks better dyed blond and with all the white hair starting to show , I have to dye it now because it is so noticable . It is so much cheaper when you have a friend dye it for you then to have it professionally done and looks just as good . If you want to dye it to get rid for white or gray hairs , because you don't like the color it is now or just for a change then I say go for it . Sometimes it is nice to have a change in life and just to try something new and different and if you don't like it then you can always dye it back or another color .

My hair is solid black but I get a few gray hairs every now and then. I don't think I will ever dye my hair until it starts to get solid gray or something. I may then get it dyed and maybe some frost put in it. I am not sure yet what to do with it since it is so black.

Yep, I would dye my hair. I haven't done it yet but I usually just get highlights in my hair but I really wouldn't mind dyeing my hair. I think it would be fun. If you're not sure of how it will look when you are done I would try out the non-permanent dye first. Good luck and let us know what happens.

I think you should try dyeing your hair. Aurburns and reds are tricky colors though. You could also stay in the brown family. Perhaps a chestnut with highlights. That way you would not have to worry about the roots as much.

I had been dying my hair for a few years now. First really black (I had a thing on being a cool brunete with green eyes) and after that red. Like really really RED. But after a while I noticed that my hair was getting sick and tired of all my strange color ideas and started protesting. So I decided to give it a breake for 2-3 years so now it;s my natural brown. I suggest that you try the dye on a small portion of the hair so you can see if you like the color and how it looks on your hair, so you avoid being disapointed or having to get a radical haircut :) Because you will NEVER EVER get the same color shown on the pretty face on the box ;)
