Things I've learned on mylot

Well I learn so much here on myLot. A lot of learning about others cultures is great. But this discussion is geared towards a couple things I have learned here that help me finacially and points wise as I do my myLot daily work. One great hint to increase ones points is that we can earn one extra point for each additional comment added to a discussion we've responded to. You add your response then add a comment to another persons response and you will earn 2 points for this. This point is one time only. Other comments added to the same discussion don't earn you another point. The other thing I've learned is how to get my discussions more attention to the general membership and not just for my friends. Catchy subject lines work the best. I usually try to avoid a simple subject line. I use creative words and or phrases that make a memebr say, "Hmmm? This looks interesting." Now another way that a discussion gets a lot of attention is being in the hot topic of the day. I've been getting a lot of mine in the top ten lately. Today I had of the top ten at one time. The trick there is twoflod. Both by myself and other members. Chatter back and forth in the response and or comments causes the topic to rise quickly. It doesn't matter the amount of responses just the amount of comments and back and forth chatter. I've seen some with 4 response up in the top ten. I've seen them with 100 responses there as well. So chat back and forth by adding comments to other members responses to bring the discussion to the general memberships attention. Just wanted to share this with all here. Thanks.

The added extra point works with each and every discussion but
just once per discussion. So if you respond to say 50 discussions
and also add a comment to one other members response in those same
50 discussions you eatn 100 points for the 50. Neat trick. This is
how in the past couple months I have moved up so quickly.

Well, friend, I have known about adding the additional comment for quite some time, and I have had reason to suspect the chatter improved earnings. I do not seem to know very much about hot topics. I will add on here that as long as a discussion is on myLot, even if it is very old, it will continue to draw responses, and even if it is a " resolved" discussion,if I respond to it, then I will earn for that response. Lots of little ins and outs to learn

Your point is true as well. Any responses continuing on a discussion will earn for the poster etc. The chatter improves earnings if it also gets a few new responses. It mainly brings the discussion to the possible front of myLot pages under hot topics or top discussions.

The financial end is getting a lot of responses to your discussions. So having it appear to the general membership in the top discussions or hot topics section helps get more responses. You're welcome as well.

I knew the "trick" about adding a comment to someone elses response, after you have added a response. It definitely increases your points.
What I really don't know is if it increases one earnings??

That's the mystery question. I know I've been making decent money

Hi Grandpa~ This is really one's great trait to make others learn and also guide how to be best among all good :) Thanks for all I really acknowledge. As you know I use to visit mylot off and on due to other commitments, I am getting much unfamiliar with the norms of mylot. Your discussion makes a refresh! how many responses do you usually do in a day. and how much do you earn in a day. i real like posting here in my lot. this is a great site. but i will admit that i am really clueless in the earnings way here in mylot. they don't really say how much we will earn in our participation. and some others they earn more by posting a quality reponse. i really don't know how much i will earn in my postings here. hope that i will have some ideas.
do you think that you your way of earnings are really correct and that i will earn more by doing that. what do you mean by point do you mean earnings too. i will like to earn in this site. since there are no other sites that are really honest in giving money in people. i have tried so many sites but i have not really earned there. it's really hard to earn in the net. but it's really tempting to participate in many sites as well. i will ilke to see that i am able to earn here as much as i can.
what i do is to post as much as i can and as long as i can. sometimes that it's really to post on some subjects that are really to understand. there are some topics that i really not familiar with. but i find it hard to look for discussions to respond to and so i lose some precious time for just looking from some wrothy discussions. hope fully that i will be able to post here more and more in a day.
i enjoy typing some thoughts that i have in my particular discussions that i feel is great. it's really great that some people appreciate my responses and tag it as a best resopnse. i really don't expect people to tag it as a best reponse.

Although I joined mylot two days ago ,but mylot is the website that I was searching for. In this community ,I can learn more about the users from other country,I can know more about folks of the other country,this is a good place that give everyone chance to introduce his/hers country,story ,folks,and thought.Now I'm a member of mylot , I hope I will make better ,also make a good friendship with you.Thank you!

I have to express my self, also i now open in talking with everybody, it helped me a lot, also it increases knowledge, and a perception to understand others.
