A friend called me 20 minutes ago and wanted to know what I think of the Smart Shopper Grocery List Organizer. I told her this is the first time I have even heard the name and will ask all of you about it. Have you used the organizer? I have learned its a way to store your shopping list, so you don't forget any items that you need to purchase that week. You just say the item and the machine stores the item and you can just print out the list before you shop. I'm thinking about buying it to make my life easier, but want to make sure it would be helpful. I'm hoping this would mean only 1 trip to the store each week.

Its available at Amazon and I'm going to buy it. This should save on gas, as its so costly in my area. Also time as standing in long lines at the grocery store means less time to post and I rarely have extra time now.

I'm definitely going to check it out today. Amazon.com is one of my favorite places to shop. Thanks for sharing!

I have never heard of a Smart Grocery List Shopping organiser. I write up a manual list of all groceries each week. Of course, we do still sometimes run out of items. Sometimes it is difficult to estimate what everyone will eat & it what quantity? I look for specials a lot so some of my groceries are based on specials. For instance, I though the price of cabbage was ridiculous for the past two weeks, so I didn't buy any. I bought pumpkin instead.

I make a list, but the real problem is my daughter is rarely home except to eat and sleep a couple days a week. Many days she sleeps closer to her job, as she has been working evenings and we are very far from her job. She is working long hours, so I have been doing the shopping with my husband. I miss the days that she and I shopped together, as we rarely forgot anything. My husband tries to be helpful and honestly I appreciate his help. The real problem is he likes junk food and doesn't gain weight no matter what he eats that day. I can't eat that way or I will have at least 20 unwanted pounds to lose. We are trying to learn how to live in a different way, as feeding two is a lot different than 3. My husband doesn't think leftovers are good.

I have never heard about this item, and wonder if it would really help make things easier? So many times it seems like unless you remember to mention what you need so it will remember for you, would it still help you keep track of what you really need?

I just use paper and pencil. I write down the things I need this week. I collect my coupons and go to the store. I have not heard of this particular item that you have described but over the years I have seen many ideas to make shopping an organized event. If you get it and use, please come back and let us know how you like it.

I use this item and I find it a very useful tool around the house. When I use to shop before I got the Organizer I would forget many things and would have to make another trip to the store. Now all I do is make 1 trip to the store and get everything I need.

Thank you for the help. I didn't want to spend a lot of money, if it wasn't a good idea. I'm glad to hear its working well for you now. I'm putting it on my to buy list.
