I know I sure am addicted to the internet. I earn online every day and have to get and want it. I will have to pay taxes on one of my sites this year because I earned over $600.00 with them. I have earned well over the $600.00 throughout the year but I will only have to cliam on onesite because I earned over $600.00 with them only. You can eanr whatever amount all year long and not have to pay taxes on it, but if you earn $600.00 or more from one individual site, then you have to claim it. They are sending me a tax form in January.

That is good Steph, I have made over $400.00 here, in a years time. I want to make more money, but I half to find other good paying sites. the socilnet works are a bunch of crap. they say how you can make all this money, I don't think so. You really make money on your referals that you get from websites. That was fun talking to you on Mora, I as surprised to see you there. did you ever figure out what the problem was email me a private message?

I will admit to an addiction, but my eldest daughter is worse than me period, and for that, I definitely will have to buy another computer come tax time. no lie. To date, I must have made about that much online, but I am thinking that it's tax free money and all. I am a part of a few other paying sites as well as this one and some survey sites and the survey site I am in never sent me no tax papers, so I would have to assume it's tax free unless declared.

If you make anything over 600.00 I thought you half to report it, or is it a 1,000 I don't know?

I hope you don't get audited then, because ANY earnings you make are to be included in your income. Many people have the misconception that just because it's not originally reported to the IRS it is "tax free". NO such thing here in the US. And other countries that are paid in US dollars are also subject to US tax regulations.

Yes, I am an incredible computer junkie. I am at it up to about 18 hours a day. * As for taxes, I have no idea. I will never make over $600 online from ANYWHERE so that is not an issue for me. I do know that all tax stuff varies state to state, so you should ask someone who is in your state. * There are volunteer organizations who should be able to assist you in this. Also, if you have not gotten any tax forms from MyLot, it is unlikely that you will. Have you gotten any tax info from where MyLot deposits the money you make?

Well, I haven't made 600.00 yet, I think I made close to 400.00 so I won't half to pay taxes on that. In our state it is anything over 599.00

Actually, the "$600" rule that so many people are misinformed about is a FEDERAL regulation, not a state one. And it pertains to people you PAY, not money you EARN. ALL earnings are to be reported on your income tax return. Depending on your situation, they may or may not be taxable. Yes, states to have different exemption/taxable amounts than the federal in some cases, but you should include ALL earnings in your income.

I am a certified internet junkie and I am not ashamed. I do not use the internet for anything bad. So everything that I do on the internet betters me as a person. I am on SSI and I do not know the rules as far as paying taxes is concerned.

Yes, I am a computer junkie as you put it! No, I haven't made enough on line to have to pay taxes on it. I've only earned about 12 bucks here so far. And you would be correct though I'm not sure if it is 500 or 600.

The "magic" number is in deed $600, but it pertains to what you pay someone, not what you earn. ALL earnings should be included in your income, although they are not always taxable. So many people have a misconception on this and the IRS does not think that ignorance of the law is a good reason for tax evasion.
