Do you like Gardening?

I like gardening very much. My Grandfather has a farm in Srilanka so I love visiting the farm whenever I go to Srilanka. My Grandfather has got many prizes on being the best farmer in his region. I have learned many things from him about Plants, I mean various facts about plants and plant diseases and the cure for them...What about you people?

I love plants but we live in condos and travel all of the time, so there is no way to keep them except for fast-growing edible plants which we can use for decorations and then eat when it is time to move on. My favorite edible yet attractive houseplant is the sweet potato, the leaves of which are so delicious when young. It is not very fast growing, but I grow them anyway. It is about the only plant I can't kill.

I think you do not like flowering plants and you are interested in plants that give off fruits and vegetables.

Oh, yes, I love flowering plants but I wouldn't know what to do with them since we "move" twice every year. They need care! Most of the flowering plants I know are annuals, and I guess I am semi-annual...tee hee. Someday we will settle down and have just one home and flowers!

my wish when i'll retire and live a peaceful life, is to do gardening...
i would like to learn more about plants, the soil, weather, the seeds, soil and plant impairments and all the things that concerned gardening...
the simple things in life like plants and animals are the best thing to find peace.
than working in offices and be a slave in a company or leading people...
a lot of stress and demands..
while planting is as simple as nature, all we have to do is understand the plants, care for them, watch for them, nurture them... then we benefit the fruits of our labor..

I grew up with a garden in my backyard and have always had something growing even if it was a tomato in a pot on my porch. Now we have moved back to the country and have about a half acre that we cultivate. We plant a lot of different things just to see what we get, but we always have tomatoes and cucumbers.

I love gardening. I can't wait until spring so I can put out my flower garden and vegetable garden. I love taking care of my flowers and seeing the beautiful blooms. I also love picking veggies to eat out of the garden. They taste much better than store bought veggies. What do you like about gardening?

hmmm...I am glad you love many things of gardening. The things which I like about gardening is in your response. I like seeing life come through a small seed. I like small plants which suffer the whole year, bear every season and became a huge tree. I like everything which is related to nature....

I and my mom has orchid garden back our house.
