Is it to much?

I will admit to watching a lot of television when its raining. Do you watch more television when the weather is wet. Yesterday I even watched part of one of the afternoon shows with a judge, but turned it off when it became so dumb that I couldn't believe there was a person that dumb in America. This person refused to move out the place. He felt that he should get his security deposit back and not pay rent. I know the rest of us know that we are going to pay for the place that we live in whether its house payments, if you haven't paid off your house or rent unless your living with your parents and they pay. Do you turn off the television when the show becomes so dumb that you start to wonder about people? I think common sense should be something that everyone has already.

My problem was I couldn't find anything to watch on any channel. Several had who is your father and several more had our weather. I can see we are going to get more rain and know we are flooding. People are being told to stay home. I'm bored and can only read short periods of time, as it hurts my eyes. Thanks for the reply. Guess I should go knit or go write a letter. I would bake, but we could lose our power.

The Pretender - Miss Parker - Miss Parker in The Pretender, with a cool motivational quote from a fan! The hunted is "Jarod" The Pretender, of course.
That's why we have VCRs and DVD players. I have a nice collection of DVDs some of TV shows that I love to re-watch like The Pretender (in case you didn't know lol) and some of movies, and these are what I tend to watch when it finally occurs to me to stop watching mindless garbage! Sometimes though I just sit there without thinking, so I forget I have DVDs to watch! lol I know, it's kinda dumb that I forget, but I have no idea why that happens! Maybe it's because I don't have a DVD player connected to my TV so I am always needing to borrow one. I really need to buy my own. We also have several tvs in the house because no one can agree on what to watch most times. But it always tickles me when I put on one of my DVDs and someone else ends up watching it with me. It happens most often with The Pretender! LOL Knitting is probably more constructive than watching DVDs though. Good for you!

I like to watch tv and I probably watch more than I should. If a show becomes boring or not to my liking, I will change channels to see if there is something more interesting on. If not, I will turn the tv off. There are some shows that I will not even consider watching because they are so dumb. It insults the intelligence of the viewer.
