Hi raydene! Wow, such a long nice curly hair! I used to wear a long one too before until I have it cut short just before Christmas. My hair is just right above my shoulder now. I think I like it this way now because many said I look younger now. haha..Take care and have a nice day! :)

Hi raydene! It really does not matter if we will all grow old or look old because what matters to me personally is we will be able to age gracefully and beautifully. hehe.. The way I see it and the way I am getting to know you more and more, you are indeed aging gracefully and beautifully. And I hope I will age that way too. Just my thoughts. is that your new haircut, wow for me its still looks long, I used to ahve very long hair now i have cut it shoulder level coz its not growing well.They say that having it trimmed often would our hair more healthy and with good growth.

Vey Nice. I keep mine short as it is so much easier to handle. I have never had it much longer than shoulder length.

Nice pic Raydene - now I can put a face to your name! Your hair still looks quite long to me!
I used to have hair down to my waist but plucked up the courage (took me 2 years) to have it cut to my shoulders. I felt naked too, for a long time afterwards, but as you can see from my avatar, it is quite short now and I like it like that; it's good for living in a hot country as I do.

And don't you look stunning Mom! My hair is about the same length as yours is now although it is not in great condition and really needs cut - I am going to get in touch with a hairdresser I know and he has said he will come to the house and cut my hair for me! xxxx

I used to braid my hair in five even sections and cut the ends, it did look really nicely layered, and I could not go too far wrong. I still cut mine most of the time, or have my neice do it. I cut hubby's hair all the time.

I LOVE someone (that I trust) doing my hair - I just couldn't sit in the salon long enough right now! Wish I had the nerve to do what you did but I know I would muck it up - also wish I looked half as good as you do right now - never mind when I am in my 50's.
I am so glad that you are doing well - I worry about you a lot - even though I know you are one of the strongest people I know! xxxx

Sweets I cut it myself. I just bent down and brushed my hair straight down to the floor. I then grabbed the end and snipped straight across. It gave it a nice layered look and got rid of the the nasty ends. I hate to have someone do my hair. I always tell them what I want and they do what THEY want which makes me unhappy...Since I have been using the shaklee enfuselle shampoo and conditioner my hais is very healthy and I have almost no grey( not bad for 57 years old)maybe 5 hairs on my whole head!
I am happy to see you here Doll. Hope things are improving. I am doing great..Feel great..not looking back..stepping forward at a nice clip! lol

My hair goes all the way down my back to my butt. I do my own trimming, when I do cut it, I will sometimes cut 6 to 8 inches off. Its funny no one notices when I do it. I notice it, I know what you mean about feeling naked. You get used to having long hair and then you get it cut. It is still long, just not as long.

You are gorgeous, not just your hair, and very young looking. Thanks for posting your picture, I knew you did not look like a sweet little burro.The length is about what mine was at its longest. It is just to my shoulders right now, as I cut it really short two times last year, trying to get all of the dye off of it. I am now gorgeous gray, LOL. My hair is coarse, wavy, and down to my shoulders.About the same length as my avatar. Mom always said that after twenty five you should wear your hair up if it was long, but I get tired of that, and the rules have changed, anyway. I like the layers in yours. Mine is just now long enough to be all put up.

Well, your hair is definitely longer than mine... which is about chin-length, slightly layered. I would love to wear my hair long again, but it's too thin.

Morning Raydene, haha, that's funny. Your hair seems so long to me and you feel naked, haha.
It's very pretty and so curly, I wish I could have long hair again, but, being sixty it's much easier to wear it short. I still dye it and all that jazz but if it gets out of control, I can cut it myself too, lol!
My youngest daughter has hair down to her butt and it's gorgeous....don't know where she got it from, not me, haha.

Honey I am 58 in oct....I am an older gal too..I don't dye my hair and have maybe 4-6 total grey hairs on my head..all my sister even the younger ones all have lots of grey but I also take shaklee vits and supplements and even clean with all green..I really believe that toxins age people both inside and out...oxxoxoxo

I think your hair is beautiful. I have very short hair as you can see from my picture because it is much easier to take care of. I had long hair when I was younger but it was so thick and heavy, it was giving me headaches. The first time I had it cut to about the length of yours, I did feel naked. So I truly understand where you are coming from. You'll get used to it.

my hair is long past my shoulders now, but I just had like 5 inches cut off,and I felt naked too, but I got use to it,my probelm is half my hair is brown and the half is white,guess they call it salt and pepper hair lol. but I still love long hair on me,I would never cut it short..

To me, anything below collar length on guys is long and shoulders on women is long.
Have you darkened it Raydene? I seem to remember a photo with your hair honey coloured.
This length that you have it is a bit longer than mine grows. It stops growing past that point. I can trim it and it grows back, but it doesn't get any longer.

I have no hair laughs going bold but when I was a teen I had long hair i still kinda like long hair myself but when I joined the army that put an end to that putting on a hat all day made me lose my hair (thats my excuse and I am sticking to it) now my wife has short hair also she said its easy for her (and thats her excuse and she is sticking to it) my girls both have long hair they will one day have a excuse also I say keep the hair
