I hate to wash dishes, then when I wash them my husband comes back and dirty of every dish in the house, he makes me mad with this, Do you think he helps to wash them? No he doesn't I told him I need a dishwasher. Or We need to start buying paper plates and cups, It is just the two of us. I know that sounds lazy, but that is the way I feel, I would be so happy if he was to buy me one. Do you husband or Mate help with the dishes?

Woman. He definitely needs to buy you a dishwasher. I don't mind washing some cups and plates in the sink but if there are alot and some dirty pots and pans, I will put them all in the dishwasher. I don't have time to stand there and wash dishes no more. what makes me mad is that I wash the dishes or clear them out of the sink and five seconds later the sink is piled full again when they could have been easily rinsed and put right in the dishwasher. That drives me nuts!!!!!

LOL. My daughter does the same thing sometimes too even though she knows I will say something. I can't stand nasty dishes sitting in the sink. The food gets stuck to them and it could cause bugs too and I can't have that in the house. Ewwwwww.

Oh I do understand, my friend. Sometimes, doing the dishes can be so tedious and tiring. I do the dishes in my house too and I have to spend 30 to 90 min each day on them. :P

I don't have a husband to help with the dishes. I do have an 8 year old son that likes to help sometimes. We have a dishwasher too though. Most of the time I use the dishwasher.

Yes, my hubby helps to wash the dishes, and no I don't think that is being lazy, because sometimes you just don't feel like washing dishes or doing anything, plus, who likes to wash dishes, maybe you should try buying paper plates and cups until you get the dish washer.

Yeah, they is nothing wrong with paper plates, when I get lazy or when I had a hard day at work, I don't like to have to cook dinner and then wash dishes too, and most men hate to wash dishes, they come up with crazy excuses when you ask them to wash the dishes, they come up with excuses like, my fingers hurt but yeah paper plates after you eat just throw in the trash, no dishes to worry about.

I had a friend that was so tired of washing dishes and her husband not helping her with them, she threw them all in the trash. They had to use paper plates and plastic stuff until he went and bought new stuff. I got pissed the other night about the dishes. I was gone all day and came home to a mess in the kitchen. My son did the cooking, he has to dirty all the dishes. I picked up some stuff and threw it in the sink, I broke 3 plates and felt better, crash tinkle tinkle. I was seriously considering breaking more, but I can't be stupid.

Hi actually here in our country washing the dishes is a wifes task and it is very seldom that husbands wash the dishes. They can help but they are not obliged to do it. For new married couple sometimes sharing task.

I can not stand when I am washing dishes or have just finished and someone comes along to dirty them again. That is irritating. I don't mind washing dishes, but then again, I am not yet married, so I do not do that very often. I do not see anything wrong with a dishwasher or paper plates. Your husband should be willing to compromise to make things easier for you. You said it is only the two of you, so it probably won't be a big deal.

It's not so much that i don't like to wash dishes, it's that it makes more sense to use paper plates, and glasses and silverware, because the heavy schedule I have I would lose a lot of valueable time washing dishes! We save the dishes for when company comes over, or on special occasions! When I still ;had my family at ;home, we all pitched in washing dishes, even I!

I think everybody is tired of washing dishes. This is the housework that I don't like to do most. My husband doesn't like washing dishes, too. However, he has to do it. It's fair as we both have to go to work and we are also responsible for home. Our rule is shared the housework together. If this week I wash the dishes, then he has to wash the dishes next week.

i am told NOT to do the dishes..only when my wife is out of town..I quess she is a perfectionist and it has to be done her way only...lol..sorry..i tried several tims but she just screams at me and does them all over anyway...there are certain things she just does not want me to do..like grocery shop, wash clothes and water the plants...but I still make the bed and take out the trash and of course snow bloww and cut the grass..but I don't do windows and the above mentioned..also i am told not to wash our two cars as she wants it done by a car wash

I dont know how to cook so I am incharge of dishwashing. The best you can do, is to keep other dishes out of sight of your husband so he will not make use of them all. Talk to him also that each one of you must clean the dishes. But if he is the one working and you are there to stay home, do the cleaning for him.
