eat less, move more...

if you ask me how i lost the 3 lbs that i did, it is not because of some complicated regimen. i just follow this simple rule: EAT LESS, MOVE MORE. that's right, if you eat less and move more then eventually your body will be used to eating only small portions of food. i don't deprive myself. i eat all kinds...and yeah, i avoid midnight snacks. hope this will help dieters out there. take care and God bless! :-)

I agree making simple changes and you can lose weight. Several changes that I made have really helped me lose weight. The big one don't skip breakfast, as people eat to large a meal after skipping a morning meal. The other one that helped me is making better food choices, so now I'm eating more fruits and vegetables. I still have a treat, but not as often, so I can stick to the 2008 fitness plan of being fit.

that is so right. because now that i am eating breakfast with rice and vian and hot beverage, i feel full and don't find the need to eat snacks and i don't pig out at lunch. i have better control of my food intake. :-)

lol, you stole my quote! Great minds think a like? Whenever one of my friends complains about their weight, or decalres they have to lsoe wieght I simply reply; "eat less, move more." In those exact four words... It's basic maths. I don't understand how people have not managed to grasp this yet. No faddy diets, no strict regimenes of 'don't eat that, don't eat this.' If, at meal times, you make a concious effort to eat only half of what you would normally have (half of everything... don't skimp out on the green to have all the chips), you'll lose weight. Do a little more excersise a few times a week. Presto. It's slower, true, but healthier and will change your eating habits for life, preventing you from putting the weight back on.

hahaha hi shard! well, it's not my original quote either...lol but i did learn that reading a magazine. when i first applied the concept, it was pretty good. but when i got married, i forgot all about it. and my routine changed. so i gained weight...a lot of it...hopefully, this weight loss will continue so that i can go back to wearing small sizes. lol good day!

Hi spoiled, thank you very much for sharing the Eat Less, Move More and I like it very much. Yeah, it is simple and efficient and could really help us to do away the extra calories but it is kinda difficult for me to scarify my favorite midnight snacks. Anyhow I will try to quit the habit of taking midnight snacks bit by bit and finally take no snack at all during midnight.

Eat less and move more is a very healthy way. We have a saying here: You will live until 99 years old if you go to have a walk after a meal. So you can see how important an exercise is.

Hello spoiled311, I am one of those people who can gain weight easily *smiles* I always take care of my diet because I don't want to be too overweight. Sometimes, I cannot resist the temptation of my favorite food but I do have to be careful, so that I won't put on too much *sighs*

The moving part is becoming easier and easier as I try to get on the treadmill everyday instead of just looking at it. Eating less (around 1200 calories) is still a struggle but only because I like those midnight snacks. My problem would be that I do my best writing early in the morning, around 1:00am, and it's also when I get very, very hungry. I'll have to buy more fruit and veggies for that midnight hour.

Movement, Exercis it does a Body Good - Keep it movin and the pounds will stay off.
This I agree with you. Moving and staying active contributes to weight loss. An excellent form of exercising is using the hula hoop. Using the hula hoop for a minium of ten minutes a day will help you to lose inches off your waiste and pounds off your body.

Gosh I know that losing weight is only in "eat less, move more", but it's the most complicated thing to do. On holidays I've eaten very few things and I went to the gym but now I have exams to do, so little time for the gym and more stress-induced eating... *feels depressed*

Yes I have heard of this and have done it and it does work indeed. I believe it is the easiest way to loose weight because you don't have to stick to a strict diet or anything.
