The natural ability to p!ss people off? I wasn't born with this talent, but I am a fast learner and it seems I get better at it every day,lol...what about you all? Do you find yourself rubbing people the wrong way alot or is it something you have to aim for to see results???

It sounds like we both have these qualities about us LOL. I am tired of trying to make sure everyone is happy all of the time. They sure don't care how you feel when they do or say something out of the way to you. I can't seem to do ro ever say the right things to people. I am who I am and if they don't like it, too bad.I have never intentionally tried to make someone mmad or hurt thier feelings. They just take whatever I say for granted and twist it in their mionds to piss themselves off, is how I see it LOL.

oh yes, I think you are my sister from another mister :) I am learning that the only one that will look out for you is you,yet everyone else expects you to look out for them and their feelings...it's exhausting really!!

That is what I say too. I have always said that I have never had a true friend and never will most likely. I have tried my herrt out, even in my adult years, to get the same treatment from people. I have always said that I have no friends and don't need none if that is the way they are. I will be 37 this year and have been pretty much a loner all of my life. I get by great like that. It is people like them who drag me down and I won't let it happen again. I would do anything for people but I have built such a wall up now, it is hard to break down and trust people now.

Yes, I too have the gift and I view it much more as a curse. I used to enjoy being humorus and responding to others with a joke rather than a straight answer. Well, I've come to realize that people don't appreciate my humor and actually find it offensive. I definitely never intend to be hurtful or disrespectful to anyone but, "I've got the gift." I've also noticed, unlike ungifted people, when I have a conversation with someone and I express a different view point the conversation is seen as an argument. I don't feel like it is any different then anyone else discussing their differences. I'm just gifted that way..... I love your term for those of us with this socially-impaired condition.

You've got that right! I truely believe I have my health because I have taken a lighthearted view of life and tried to laugh at things more than cry over them. When life hands you lemons, grab the Tequila and salt. Thanks for sharing.

Oh yes I can do this very easily at times. I think there is a p!ss people off gene and I inherited it. It had to come from my mothers side of the family as she was pretty talented in this area as well :))

I got this talent too! I'm really quite gifted sometimes. But usually its the dumb people out there that I tick off so it doesn't bother me. I dont try to do it, it just happens. Usually the ones with brains in their heads can follow my logic or are atleast willing to respect opinions that differ from their own. Oh well... to each their own.

Oh, I've got it, and it's honest - I inherited it from my Dad! I reached the point years ago where I learned that when people ask certain questions, they really aren't looking for the truth. I don't bite my tongue, and I tend to call it as I see it. If I piss someone off, I figure they deserve it.

oh you're like me then...I see it the way it is,no sugar coated cotton candy dreams for me... and you know if you have to walk on eggshells all the time so to not piss someone off...well, that's just not living to me!! I don't go around looking to hurt someones feelings, I usually keep my mouth shut if I think that is what will happen..but if someone directly asks for my opinion, well thats what they're gonna get.

I don't go out of my way to hurt other people's feelings either, but sometimes, I just cannot resist that urge to say exactly what I think. You're right about not living if you feel you have to walk on eggshells all the time!
