My officemate, roomate and friend gave me a birthday gift a mulan patr 1 and part 2 dvd's and I was really thrilled and immediately watched it last night. Its my favorite cartoon movie and its the best so me and of course mulan is my favorite cartoon character. At the age of 32 you think im too old to watch it. I used the head set and set it to the higest sound that I could tolerate. Im enjoying it now, i watched it so many years ago and im just happy about it. I going to watch it as much as i want it to be and many many many thanks to my roomate analie for giving me that gift.

I'm 28 and i still watch cartoons. partly because i have a two year old that loves them, but the other part is because i enjoy them to...although, i would enjoy them more if they still had the smurfs on. i loved that cartoon and would sit and wait for it to come on when i was little. LOL! your never to old to watch kids shows or disney movies or cartoons. and if you have kids you can always use that as your excuse. LOL! thanks for posting and God bless

Hi there Zelmarq! I don't think that anyone can be too old for cartoons. I know some grandmothers who love watching Tom and Jerry and I don't see anything wrong with it. I'd say watch whatever you want and don't care what other people say as long as you're not hurting anyone and you're enjoying yourself. Have fun watching Mulan!

While I am a bit younger than you, at the age of twenty-two, I enjoy cartoons incredibly. I love how there are always adult jokes snuck in to amuse older audiences. I enjoy the carefreeness of the plot and how everything always works out in the end. Happy endings make my day :) I hope that you had enjoyed your birthday and it was really nive of your roommate and your friend to do that for you :)

I am 36 but I still watch cartoon with my son. Haha! I still do enjoy cartoons even at my age. I think our generation was the first to really enjoy cartoons during childhood. That is why it is not appropriate anymore the cartoons are for children as most adults today have enjoyed it as well. During or generation our parents were not able to enjoy this that is why they still have this thinking that cartoons are for kids only.

Well, i can say that theres always a child in us despite our age and watching cartoons makes us tuned with the childish world and then back to our own world after watching.

Yes, very true. I cannot stand the Simpsons or Family Guy show though. to me, they are not a cartoon. they are nasty and vulgar.

Yes, cartoons are better than watching those heart breaking movies and some which are too graphic. At least cartoons are wholesome and feel good movies.

I don't think you're too old for that. I also enjoy cartoons and I'm 35 and married. I love Tom and Jerry though I often tell my nephews and nieces not to imitate them .:) We are always kids in heart I guess so it's ok to enjoy movies for kids once in a while. Happy viewing!

It is my understanding that cartoons were originally made for adults. Give yourself permission to be you and enjoy.

hello there to U...in my own point of view, age doesn't really matter what kind of t.v shows you want to watch...i'm 23 yrs.old but i still love watching SpongebobSquarePants...according to some studies, watching cartoons will not make you feel depressed, sad, or lonely...it will make you forget all your worries and problems in life, making it all a little lighter... Watching cartoons is really fun...it really makes you laugh at times, especially those funny cartoon t.v. shows...even some of the famous artists loves to watch cartoons, and that includes the famous Michael Jackson... There's no wrong watching cartoons at your age or even older like in their 50's or even 80's...all of us not only kids can have the privilege to enjoy watching cartoons shows...if some people will mind you what you want to watch then don't mind them...if that will make you happy then go for it, don't mind what other people will say...as long as, you're doing the right thing, having GOD in your life, and you're happy with it, then you'll be feeling great... Because a day without laughter is a wasted day...life is too short to be unhappy...as long as there is life, there is hope...have a blessed day ahead of U...keep on watching cartoons, because it'll make you happy...may GOD BLESS U & UR family always!!!

You are never too old to watch cartoons. I am 29 and I still like to watch cartoons sometimes. I don't think Disney movies really count as cartoons anyway. I would not worry about being too old to watch them as long as you enjoy watching them.

Whenever my husband and I are going to buy movies I quickly look for cartoons! I don't know why but I love watching them... So cheers, you're not alone!!!

I'm late 20's now and I don't think I'll ever not enjoy cartoons - I will still be watching them til a ripe old age *knock on wood* I especially love the Disney movies (old and new) and really miss some of the Saturday morning, Weekday afternoon cartoons that were aired when I was in school. I bought the DuckTales dvd recently and want to get the Animaniacs dvds too! I once had a person tell me they thought I was immature because I loved watching animated movies (Disney, Pixar). And though I was insulted at the time, I now feel sorry for them because I think people who look down upon others who enjoy animation are simply pretentious and missing out on a good thing. If they don't like cartoons, fine, but don't judge other people based on your own preferences. Also, I think you are only as old as how you feel. And watching cartoons make me feel like I'm embracing my youth. So I'll never feel old. :)
