Is Spring Creeping In...

The other day while I was on the pc I was looking out the window and saw lots of birds most of them were Starlings but a few were Robins. I went and got a bag of bread crumbs from a box of Stove Top that I had and took them out and threw them in the grass. Within about 20 minutes I had the birds all feasting right by our window (I took the pic included of them). It was so pretty and Hubby says Robins are a sign that Spring is right around the corner. Boy, I hope so...I am so done with Winter now. I'm ready for Spring any time.
So, what do you think...is Spring creeping in or is it wishful thinking? Do you feed birds at your home too?

Yes, the birds are singing and out on the porch our first flower has risen up out of the new foliage and sprung into bloom. Also, my brother who lives on the other side of the mountain, so to speak sent an e-mail with pictures of his neighborhood's flowers poking their little heads up through the snow. Also, it is taking longer for the sky to grow dark and the sun seems to be getting up earlier. Moreover, I feel like spring cleaning. It is in the air!

I have heard the birds singing and chirping here recenlty also. I hope spring is right around the corner for us but I hope the winds and the tornadoes stay away. I just let my dog outside and it is rainigna nd snowing all at the same time. Weird weather.
I am so done with winter also. We had high winds and tornadoes and it scares me for spring to come, but we never did get much snow as it was.
I think it may be just wishful thinking though.

Right now I don't see any signs of spring yet. It has been snowing for two days here. Although the other day when it was really warm out I saw two geese at the pond and I thought the same thing about spring.

Yes I believe Spring is coming in.I do feed the birds and
any other animals.We are seeing Robins too.It is so nice to
think of Spring coming.I have been fighting a cold for the
last month.The way the weather keeps changing.I hope it will
stop soon.

The weather we have had in Australia of late is very confusing. We don't know what season it is anymore! lol. At least our droughts are easing and it hasn't been a super hot summer (just the odd day).

I think it might be creeping in slowly.
As much as I love winter and winter weather I'm actually ready for Spring too. The gas prices are driving us bananas! LOL
I guess you could say I feed my birds. They eat our dogs food!! We can't keep them from it LOL. Our dog does scare them off when she wants to but when she doesn't - they feast.

Well, it is creeping in, but it is taking it's time!
Around here, we'll have two warm days, then we'll have two cold days, and it looks like we are in for another little cool spell from what I can tell on the Weather Channel!

A few weeks ago, I thought the same thing, that Spring was on its way. I began making gardening project plans. My back yard was covered with robins. It was such a beautiful sight. Now I wish I had taken a picture of it. That day I thought that Spring must be just around the corner. But I was wrong. We've had two big snowstorms that shut down schools in every county adjacent to us.

Oh yes spring IS just around the corner! We have a bird condo and two feeders in our front yard for us to enjoy in the mornings through the window. We have all different kinds of birds coming to feed. They're so pretty and interesting to watch.

i hear the doves are back yesterday - i hadn't heard them all winter...we are due for another blizzard & two wseeks of ice & then it will probably be milder...maybe spring like. I can't wait. I really get sick of winter more and more every year.

We feed birds too, but so far I haven't seen any Robins. The cardinals that hang out here for the winter are still around and the ground is covered with snow. Feels like spring will never come, but at least it has warmed up into the 20's (F).

I am so looking forward to spring, I hope it hurries up and gets here. We have a big snow storm coming our way. Blizzard conditions. It has already started, I am hoping this is winters last hurrah, but I know better. I can always hope though.

I've seen buttercups blooming around here so spring is pretty close at hand. It was pretty warm here today..around 70 degrees but its suppose to storm and turn cold tonight. I like winter so I am okay with it. I would really like to see a good snow. We haven't had one in many years.

you and me both,i am so sick of nasty weather.i am also seeing a lot of birds and i also noticed that some of my trees are beginning to bud..I am ready for spring..i cannot wait to get out in my yard and start planting and cleaning..it just puts me in a great mood seeing all this sunshine we have been having the last few days....

No, I don't feed the birds. But I hope the robins are a sign that spring is right around the corner. This winter with the extreme temperature changes that we have had has wore thin on me, and I am ready for spring weather, though I doubt that we see spring weather here in Indiana, seems in the last few years we skip right over that season straight into summer.
